My boyfriend and I came here for an early Valentines Day night out. The drinks were excellent and the decor/ambience was so perfectly done. The bartenders there that night were very friendly and helpful.
Commodores club is a must for any cocktail lover. Probably the truest speakeasy feel of any bar I've been to. That is partly due to the unexpected location. It is deep in East village and there are quite a few people experiencing homelessness on the streets outside. My review is for The Commodore Club which is a wonderfully unique little cocktail bar hidden away in the Old Harbor Distillery warehouse. You can find your way to reservations online or just look for the red door and hope they have room for you. A truly nautical adventure I highly recommend for elevated cocktail enthusiasts. Sadly the homeless make the surrounding area a bit dangerous and disgusting, but if you’re getting a ride to and from the door it’s worth it. Cheers!
