Guest review: SB Phoenix Desserts is one of my addictions. Yes, I have to do better, but at the same time their desserts are SO GOOD! They made an adjustment to their mango mochi recipe, and OMG! All I can say is try it. It's like clouds parting in the sky, angels singing level of deliciousness.
We found the mochi heaven at Phoenix Dessert. They have so many varieties of mochi that will satisfy most mochi lovers. We tried all sorts of fresh mochi but the one that really stuck out was the coconut mango rolls. They used fresh mango and the mochi was doughy, thin, and incredibly tasty. Their Mango Pomelo Delight drink was a little pricey but worth it. The location is not an ideal spot for the Clairemont food scene but there was plenty of parking.
