I'm admittedly partial to a full bar (tho for being beer only this place has several different choices i don't mind drinking). But alas, most come here to shoot pool. With a plethora of tables, Pockets sure has come a long way since i first played here. They've installed rooftop ac units, and recently installed cloth and healthy rubber cushions... These tables play VERY fast.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and decent food. There were about 15 Valley tables, well taken care of. I got the flat bread pizza. It was very good, although they had very limited toppings. Large doors on the side open to the outside, which was nice on a cool September evening. ? I will return when I'm back in the area.Update: I called two weeks later because I had lost my receipt that I needed for work. Paityn was very friendly and didn't even hesitate to send it to me. I like that they have food options. Can’t bring your own food since they have a kitchen… At least the food is good and staff are nice/chill. Good vibes. Call ahead if you’re trying to play during the week because of league. Utilize the online system to reserve a table on Friday’s/Saturday’s or else you might be waiting a while in the evening for a table. Tables are taken care of and it’s clean. All in all, good place. Would recommend coming here.
