My family and I always stop here whenever we’re in San Diego. We love Somi Somi. It is delicious every time and we always have a good time. The atmosphere is clean and nice. The service was exceptional. They greeted us immediately when we walked in. We ordered 5 Taiyakis and one Scot serve. My daughter dropped her fish taiyaki and the gentlemen behind the counter saw and offered her another one without charge. He actually paid attention to us. Taiyaki is sooo good. These little rice flour waffle fish are just crunchy, crispy, chewy and hot! I always have to ask for extra crispy, bc I've gotten them too underdone, and they were no bueno. A few times ago, the fish I received were very pale, so I brought them back to have them re-do for extra crispy. They can't give the fish extra time on the taiyaki maker, they have to make a brand new batch. So, I waited the 20 min or whatever, and they basically gave me the same colored,...read full review
