My colleagues and I were in SD for a conference and we certainly have a funny story of how we ended up at Taste of Thai for dinner on our first night. But... long story short, we were originally going to head to another Thai restaurant, but the one that was recommended had closed, or moved locations. Places uses too many frozen ingredients. This is true because spring rolls we ordered were the frozen variety as they came frozen in the middle even with the exterior piping hot. I got the green curry, which honestly tasted nicely with the pork, but the peas and carrots in the curry were definitely the frozen variety as they have that cold-burned flavor.
