Fabulous pastries! Morning bun was exceptional. Would recommend to give this bakery a visit. We did a take out and walked to nearby Dolores Park for a relaxing picnic. Quick but important note - we took a bus from union square and it passed by Mission district which felt very unsafe. Would recommend to take an Uber or drive if possible.
Tartine is simply the best. We order our cakes here for birthdays, buy bread weekly, treat our guests to pastries when they're in town. After a decade of going to tartine almost every week, here are our go-tos: 1) country bread 2) morning bun 3) jalapeño croissant 4) savory scone 5) tres letches or chocolate soufflé cakes

There's always a line!I visited the store just after peak hours, but it was always crowded.There were also sandwiches, Danish pies, croissants, cakes, and tarts.The bread we ordered was very delicious.Desserts also seem to be popular, so I'd like to try their popular desserts next time.The croissant was crispy and very tasty.There was also space to eat inside.The taste, location, atmosphere, everything is great.
