I go here for the Al Pastor torta. I get a Tamarindo Jarritos with it, and it legit makes my whole day. The torta is so good. I'm a gringa, so I don't know how the al pastor compares to other places or styles, but I love it. Small business run by a chef and waitress. They work hard and deserve the community's support. First time here my experience was divine caldo de pescado was off the hook nice and hot and even the chips were nice and crispy the salsa was spicy and flavorful and omg the micheladas with shrimp were outstanding I was walking nearby and happened to just walk in and try them out and I was not disappointed all their foods exceeded my expectations

Let me start off by saying that Mexican food in San Jose Sucks!! It's super white washed. But this place is a hidden gem they still make authentic food & the meats are marinated perfectly for anyone who is tired of dry flavorless tacos, I recommend you come here. This spot is one of the better ones I've tried so far in SJ out of about 20 different spots.
