My first visit to Mochiya at Mitsuwa Marketplace was a delightful experience, offering a quick and savory lunch followed by a sweet treat.I got the matcha Oreo shake. I love their drinks. Not too sweet and with good depth and balance of flavor. It is really difficult to find matcha lattes here that taste close to what they have in Japan because although matcha drinks are ubiquitous in the bay area, most matcha drinks are way too sugary and the matcha tastes bad. I'm glad I can go here to get a semblance of what I'd get in Japan.

OMGOODNESS! The crepes! First time trying this spot after it's been here awhile. I was craving some crepe after the ramen. Hubby suggested we have it for dessert and it was superb! I have yet to try the rest of the items on the menu but so far with the crepe, it's super yummy!
