My mom use to take me there as a child. It was always amazing and still has the same look inside! I miss the sweet treats and my mom. I'm 52 and my mom is no longer here. I wish I was close enough to get those wonderful pastries to share with my family.
Bookmarked this SJ institution having seen the reviews for Burnt Almond Cake. As we were driving back to San Jose coming in from the Peninsula last Saturday before Easter, we decided to swing by. You can not go wrong with this bakery. Everything available in the store is delicious and there is something for everyone!! I favorite s for different reasons but the one I love since childhood hood are their danishes with raisins and nuts. No one ever makes them like Prters Bakery. Go get you pastries & Enjoy!!
