“Ordered: miso ramen with an extra egg on the side, chicken karaageTexture on the noodles is firmer than most ramen places which I like over a softer noodle. Some of the best ramen eggs I've had in the Bay Area as well. Karaage was piping hot and well seasoned with good dipping sauces.Wait staff is unobtrusive but diligent. They don't come around like every five seconds to ask how the meal's going, they just get their work done without interrupting your meal.Small tables, a counter, and a couple TVs kinda make it feel like a small noodle bar in a cyberpunk movie, but that's part of the charm. They really make every square foot count.Great place for ramen and great place to hang out solo or with any company!“
“Fabulous broth in these dishes! Delightful, we stopped after seeing the evening cherry blossoms at Hakone Garden; perfect cap to the evening. ???Dietary restrictions: I eat GF and had always thought of ramen places as being about the wheat noodles? No, no: it's all about the rich broths, and you can find rice plates or order with no noodles. I went for an appetizer seafood soup with a side of rice and side of kim chi and that made a perfect meal.“
“It is in the Vietnam Town Plaza, and it is a small shop with limited seating. The service was quick and food came out fast. I think the dry noodles I got were good, very rich in garlic flavor. I would recommend if craving mazemen. The noodles are chewy as well.“
“Came here on a rainy Saturday evening for dinner. There were quite a few patrons, but no wait since there were open tables. The “prefer English” option for the QR menu was nicely done. Everything was translated (as opposed to Taiwan Bistro’s QR system where all the menu items are still in Chinese and only the in-app functions like “order now” are in English). We would skip the woodear mushrooms next time; these were a little too spicy, sharp and tangy for our liking. I got the clear beef noodle with rice noodle, which was tasty. The highlight was the pan fried soup bun. Lots of soup and a lovely crusty bottom! We would come here again!“
“This is one of my favorite ramen spots in the South Bay. It is inside a grocery store, so expect a food court style seating arrangement. The food comes out quickly, and on days they take longer there is a whole grocery store and book store to look through. They are friendly and always get the order correct. We usually get the 36 and the 63 when we go, and I personally love how the spicy char sui miso soup!“
“We were initially thrilled about the variety of ramen options, but our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized that all ramen choices featured pork broth. Unfortunately, there were no pure vegetarian, vegan, or chicken alternatives. As a result, we opted for bento box selections, specifically the Chicken Karaage Curry and BBQ Chicken. Arriving around 9 pm on a weekday, we found that noodles were already unavailable, so we had to settle for rice only. Despite this, we enjoyed the well-presented and flavorful BBQ Chicken more than the Karaage Chicken, although the curry portion wasn't sufficient for all four chicken pieces. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but we wished for more diverse options, especially in the ramen selection.“
“IMHOI've been wanting to try this place out for months! Today was the day!My sister ordered the Black Garlic Osaka Tonkotsu, $14.95, with the works (added baby bamboo, Kikurage mushrooms, sweet corn, soft boiled egg, and fried garlic, all for an extra charge. The basic tonkotsu comes with four thin slices of char siu and green onions. I ordered the same soup with only the soft-boiled egg. We both chose the thin spinach noodles, for an extra $1. Our kind waitress suggested the gyoza appetizer, $7.95, for 7 pieces. The gyoza came out first and I noticed that at least 3 of the gyoza were slightly under-fried with a pale half side. I tapped one to see if it was still doughy. If it had been, I'd have sent it back. These were delicious especially when dipped in the vinegar sauce. If you order this, make sure they bring you extra vinegar sauce! We both loved the creaminess and full of flavor soup! We scarfed everything up but did bring home containers of our yummy leftover broth! If ever I'm craving ramen, I'm glad that Ramen Osaka is close to home!“
“I went during happy hour to try the food since I've never been there. I was quickly greeted and was able to choose my table. I was offered drink choices before ordering and was given time to look at the digital menu. I ordered, and food arrived quickly. My server was really nice and attentive. I was pretty happy with the service. Music was playing, and maybe 1/3 of the restaurant was filled by the end of happy hour. Ambiance was very much a seafood bar, blue walls, some booths, and steel top tables with fresh seafood options in tanks right as you walk in. The most important part was the food. I thought the food was good and came out warm still but struggled to finish my meal. Towards the end, I didn't enjoy it as much. I ordered the house prawns fried ( you get 4), calamari tubes (a basket), 1/2 shell mussels grilled( you get 4), and deep fried oysters (you get 4). There was this garlicky, cheesy topping with green onions on 2 out of the 4 dishes, which was tasty, but something was missing. My total was $39.98 plus tip, and it didn't fix my seafood craving. I'm willing to try other dishes there another day.“
“We had vegetarian/vegan ramen option and it was really good. Great taste and filling. Wish there were more noodles options to choose from for the ramen. Also the noodle quantity could be less and other veggies/tofu could have more. Overall good experience, would go again.“
“In the quest for Vegan/Vegetarian Ramen, we discovered another intriguing Ramen spot. This is a newly opened location in San Jose West. We ordered Miso Ramen and Stir Fry Ramen. The Miso Ramen is standard but perfectly hits the right notes. The Stir Fry Ramen is a novel type that we tried, loaded with cabbage, stir-fried veggies, and a delicious veggie broth. Personally, I enjoy cabbage and stir-fried dishes, so I loved this variation. Our server provided spice options like chili oil, Nanami Togarashi, and house-made chili paste, each increasing in spiciness. All of them were excellent at their respective spice levels. Overall, we had an awesome bowl of Ramen for dinner. Other intriguing options available include curry ramen and chilled hiyashi ramen. Regarding the ambience and seating, it's ordinary, and they have limited seating outside.“
