Maybe an off day at the deli counter--no one was there, waited a while, saw an older man in the back who came out looking for other staff. Obviously annoyed, he began making a sandwich. He stopped to go cut turkey cheese and lettuce although it appeared the ingredients were all right in front of us. I asked if he wanted me to place an order and come back after staff returned, he did not respond. turkey/swiss/mayo/mustard, but forgot the mustard. Did not speak a word to me. Such great service which is the norm at this store. Yes there are bigger Safeways in the area but I love this one. Huge thank you to Nicole in the bakery, Isabel in the deli and for Yesenia.
