I really enjoyed this place. I got the pastrami sandwich. It was really good, had a lot of meat, very flavorful. It was a bit heavy on the mustard and the chips on the side didn't have any salt but it was a good balance when eaten together. I'd eat here again.
The Shop by Chef Baca is truly a local gem! When I dropped in I was luckily enough to chat with one of the owners, Madelyn, and she was so nice and helpful in ordering. Ordered through doordash for lunch cause I was feeling lazy. Got the Italian and it was great, as were the homemade bbq chips it came with. It held up well on the delivery trip too. Where I grew up in Boston a specific style of Italian sub was fairly popular and it's hard to get a good one out here, and this one reminded me of them and really hit the spot so I'm glad I found this place. I'm curious to try the pastrami and some of the other sandwiches next.
