“Nice spot listening to a live jazz band. Service would be five star but you have to wait in the food Lion just to get a drink it can take a little while for people to order so it was slow.Very nice venue, very friendly people, food was excellent, drinks were cold, and music was live.“
“These are some of the best donuts on the San Marcos....actually in North County. I stick to San Marcos/Escondido area for donuts, but Crispy's really is a treat. These donuts might be some of the fluffiest that you can find. Even the next day they were still super soft. They have a really good variety of donuts readily made. Our favorites are the chocolate, crumb, maple and cinnamon rolls. All the donuts we had were delicious. They even have some tasty looking cronuts too, but I still have not had those yet, Depending on the time you show up there is ususally a short line, unless its that price 8-9am hour on the weekends. They are quick and friendly, with some space inside with some tables to chow down your donut. The store is in an older shopping center of Rancho Santa Fe, but that doesn't really matter since the donuts are A-grade. We come in from the opposite side of San Marcos, and they are worth spending the extra gas to get these fluffy donuts.“
“Very pretty shop. Ordered and then half the order was out of stock after we had paid. Ordered a blended iced taro drink. I didn't know it had boba. I didn't want boba. The boba was hot, so the drink melted quickly. The taste was good but overall the drink was not very satisfying. The staff was friendly but lacked knowledge of the availability of product, and also didn't know what creamer was for coffee.“
“I don’t know why, but my drip coffee tasted like they hadn’t cleaned the pot for a whole week, all I could taste was a weird plastic smell. Couldn’t even drink it unfortunately. My husband got a cold brew and it was a bit better. The breakfast egg sandwich was OK. Deli meat was just not the freshest and the avocado wasn’t real avo... It was just packed guacamole, very sour. I would love to go back because it’s close to us. But I don’t think we will. after the first experience“
“The green and gold combo: cool and calm. Staff: happy. Altogether welcoming.Food is great. So is the coffee. People need to read description before complaining, and it’s not gonna be roasting hot like the starnuts trash. I’ve enjoyed the quality.“

“Newer location. I was going to order online & drive thru but couldn't get an adequate internet connection on my iPhone 15, so I Walked inside. No line brief wait, after several women acknowledged me. Went in to check a gift card balance, load it up & get my triple star drink invitation than came via email. They were out of the hot drink I wanted do I ordered a decaf vegan Mocha. Good temp & taste, fairly fast service, open seating thinned out. I forget how small a small actually is. They were Oatlate sample (cold) on counter which I didn't like, temperature was part of it with lemon loaf samples, also good, moist. If you take the time to go inside, you might find a nice surprise and have a good experience like I did here (unlike the La Mesa store, which was not even close in comparison). Despite franchising, not all Starbucks are created equally.“
“Ok, so my car Broke down by the Descanso Ave San Marcos location. But before I started the search for a cheap tow service, I walked over to Starbucks to get a coffee. I was super hungry and upset about my car -I mentioned what happened to the cashier/ Barista- and do you know what he said? He said my coffee was on him! And then he bought me a sandwich too! He probably wasn't even aware of how this simple kindness that he'd shown me affected me... All I could say was, thank you so much- then he said- bad stuff is gonna happen, so you're gonna need some good stuff to happen as well.. (I may have reworded it a little bit, but it's pretty much what he said). I agreed but had to turn away a bit so he wouldn't see me cry he really changed my whole mood. I know this was long, but I had to tell ppl what an amazing soul this angel named CHRIS has that works at the Starbucks on Descando Ave, by the 78 highway in San Marcos.They are way too few humans that show they care for other humans these days- so it just fills my heart with hope, faith, and a lil bit of joy to receive such kindness and compassion. God bless you and thank you Chris. Keep spreading love kindness, and light- because there's so much more hate out there now. “Great friendly service. Download app for reward programs. Tried mashed taro 50% sweet which was perfect for me. Bobas were soft and chewy. Drink tasted really good. Like the chunks of taro inside the drink. Will def come back and try other flavors.“

“A staple place for boba and fast service when we go in the evenings after dinner! The BOBA is always FRESH and never hard, just right. I got the Brown Sugar Milk tea, and it was delicious! Nice people who help w/your order, and you can never forget the name, which is hilarious and awesome at the same time. ?Kid-friendliness: They have games you borrow to play while you sit and drink your boba in the shop if you want. Also, the place is kept nice and clean as well.“

“Found this place randomly and it is definitely a hidden gem! Service/staff were great and attentive. Inside was neat with a cute/unique style. I would say it's perfect for study sessions and/or coffee dates. Drink: I have never tried honey lavender with my matcha but the staff recommended and it did not disappoint. Price is pretty average for a matcha latte (especially if you get dairy free milk). I will be back to try the food menu!“
