“If you're in Cardiff, bump coffee is an absolute must try! Their CBD drink coffee is absolutely delicious and definitely gives you a good amount of energy when you need it most. I don't have the "crash" either from this drink which is great. “The big appeal to me with any Starbucks isn't the coffee (its rates a B in my opinion), its the availability of its locations, service, and atmosphere. This location is no exception. Clean and well maintained this has to be one of their best locations. It is near the beach, shopping, and best of all lodging. When I came on a Saturday afternoon, I had to wait about 35 minutes in line, and then another 10–15 minutes after ordering. “First time patron and it took a little time to find it. It's off the main street towards the back. There are multiple coffee places on this street and almost gave up. We finally found it and glad we kept found it. The customer service was great as was the coffees and pastries. I'm a no frills coffee person. Black straight up. My pastry was fantastic and delicious. Outside looks calmer.I would go back if someone else suggests it, and would not fine with the choice. It would not be my first choice.“
“My message to the business owners would be to stick to the thing you're best at (the snow ice) and really make it shine, like making a build your own snow ice special or add special things like matcha or red beans, instead of trying to stretch the menu and do things that would end up with alright results, especially for smaller kitchens. “These are some of the best donuts on the San Marcos....actually in North County. I stick to San Marcos/Escondido area for donuts, but Crispy's really is a treat. These donuts might be some of the fluffiest that you can find. Even the next day they were still super soft. They have a really good variety of donuts readily made. Our favorites are the chocolate, crumb, maple and cinnamon rolls. All the donuts we had were delicious. They even have some tasty looking cronuts too, but I still have not had those yet, Depending on the time you show up there is ususally a short line, unless its that price 8-9am hour on the weekends. They are quick and friendly, with some space inside with some tables to chow down your donut. The store is in an older shopping center of Rancho Santa Fe, but that doesn't really matter since the donuts are A-grade. We come in from the opposite side of San Marcos, and they are worth spending the extra gas to get these fluffy donuts.“

When my daughter had to come home from college during Covid we sat outside when we needed an escape from the suffocating atmosphere of being home all the time. She took her sketchbook and drew a picture of the setting of us sitting underneath the 805/5 freeway, with the Coaster train in the background. It was kind of a depressing scene, but suited the "times". We joked that the location is so bad, it was good! No question, the coffee and pastries and service compensate for the weird location.“

“Very cute boba tea place located in La Costa Town Square. Walked in and saw a good amount of small tables to sit at and a couple iron tables outside as well. The menu was on the wall by the front counter/register. Made it easy to decide what we wanted while we waited our turn to order. There was also a self-service kiosk by the entrance as well-which we initially didn't notice. There's a good amount of various drinks, offering only one size, and price is comparable to other boba tea places. There's also a case of baked goodies at the front counter as well. The girl working was very nice and friendly and even though she was by herself, she was very efficient in taking orders and getting the drinks out in a timely manner. We tried the Creamy Jasmine milk tea with boba and the Taro Lover with chunks of taro. They were both very delicious! With the perfect amount of sweetness according to both our tastes. I also appreciated that the girl made sure I was ok with the taro chunks that come in my drink, the Taro Lover. All in all, we had a great first visit and happy we decided to try this place. We already plan to go back in the following weeks to try more of their specialties.“

Price is reasonable in this day and age (yes it's around $3 per donut, but you're getting twice as much donut as your $2 krispy kreme. Cash only. Better than a lot of these "boutique" donut places that focus on a sugar rush of flavor options because they stick to the classics and nail them. You'll find everything you'd expect from an old school donut spot - plain and chocolate glazed, cinnamon sugar, and sprinkled yeast donuts, some cake donuts, and the maple bar amongst some other bonus options. “Cafe Topes was super busy when my friend and I came for breakfast (Saturday at 11am, duh it's busy!) but the service is so quick and efficient we were in and out in thirty minutes. You order at the front, the person who took our order was super helpful and friendly (I wish I got his name) and made great recommendations. We got the crack breakfast burrito, the 222, and two delicious lemonades. The food came out incredibly fast, piping hot, and super yummy. We really enjoyed the inside seating, although the outside is just as nice when it's not rainy! Would go again, and probably will soon!“

“we visited on the weekend so the parking lot was completely full and ended up parking down the block which wasn't a big deal but take a look in the parking lot before driving by because you might be lucky and catch a spot. we had a pour over coffee which didn't take too long to be prepared and the staff behind the counter was generally nice and quick as well. i will note that they did have a line out the door and all the tables were full so it seems like the spot to be on a saturday morning. the line although it was long (10+ minutes) moved fairly quickly. if you're in the area, believe the hype and make sure you stop by here for a cup of coffee.“

This place was packed on a Tuesday morning so that was definitely a good sign of things to come. Adorable house turned business with a spacious outdoor seating area in the back. We were on the cusp of breakfast and lunch and opted for breakfast because who doesn't love a hearty breakfast?? My friend and I split avocado toast and the parmesan risotta and honey cured bacon Benedict, which is officially one of my fave breakfasts I've had this year. Instead of a muffin, it's served on cream cheese risotto cakes which are literally the chefs kiss! The avocado toast was unforgettable, I think mostly because it was just served all by itself on a plate and just looked sad. They give you little cookies when you pay but honestly forget about them since we were so full.“

The brisket was a bit dry but the dip sauce was so unbelievably tasty it made up for it. The breads were so good too. The side of potatoes was perfect and better than the cucumber tomato salad, which had a lot of unexpected dill and not many tomatoes. I also ordered a delish sounding iced tea, but it tasted bitter and oversteeped to me. They were nice enough to let me swap out for a hot tea, but I would have loved a solid iced black tea. It's order at the counter so I suggest adding a water station, because we had to track someone down to ask for water, which took a while to come to the table. Still such a good meal and an awesome menu with many more things I want to try!“
“This is for the coffee/service/ambiance. I've gone there twice the last 2 weeks to work around 11am and drink some coffee. Both times have been super nice, good quiet outdoor patio to work from, good wifi and solid house coffee. The girls behind the counter are really friendly and quick. “This is pretty standard with other Philz Coffee. A slightly smaller space with less seating. Google maps also takes you a couple blocks away and you don't even know exactly where it is! I circled around and found it. Parking lot is teeny tiny and the area is a busy area in Encinitas. Not the most accessible place. I would rather try coming here than another round of corporate coffee. I usually get the mint mojito coffee, it's unique and tasty. There are a lot of other innovative drinks so it's a nice departure from the norm. Staff was nice, definitely check it out.“
“Invita is my families favorite, and go to coffee spot. We love the coffee and food as they are always consistently excellent. And the service is always excellent too. The Owner is extremely nice. We also love the atmosphere. Even on a rainy day like today, we knew the indoor sitting area would be a relaxing place to be, so we could catch up and have fun with the provided games, and reading material.(On Saturday mornings, my sons and I routinely come to get coffee and to view the beautiful cars that are on display.)“

“Really laid back coffee shop with a ton of outdoor seating. Birdrock has some of the best coffee anywhere and this location is the least crowded of the ones I have been to. They are sandwiched between a French bakery and a high end donut shop so be warned that you may be tempted to supplement your coffee. Staff is friendly and service has been quick for me.“

“We were walking around Encinitas on a Saturday morning and came across this gem. We walked inside and were instantly greeted. The cashier was so sweet and patient while we looked at the menu and ordered. I ordered an iced matcha latte and my boyfriend got a flat white. Both drinks were good and came out fast. Limited seating outside but it wasn't really busy. We found a nice high table outside and sipped our drinks while we people watched. Perfect for coffee dates and studying! I think they have wifi too.“
