“This location in downtown San Mateo has been here for as long as I can remember. The ice cream itself and pricing are the same as any other Cold Stone location, and this location has a few tables/chairs for seating. It's also right next to the movie theater parking lot, which is convenient.Does service sometimes take a while and are they often under-staffed? Yes. Are staff friendly when they finally get to you? Also yes. Given they're a long-time local establishment that I imagine has been hit by COVID as well as the skyrocketing number of other (micro)creameries and dessert/boba establishments in the area, I'm inclined to be more generous. On my most recent visit, I got a small "Like It" with almonds mixed in, and the server took his time crafting my scoop and even added a little bit of extra ice cream and almonds on top when he was done.“
“If you happen to walk by their stand, be sure to stop by! I went to their stand at the Burlingame Farmers market today and bought a few of their pastries and brioche chocolate bread. I was very satisfied with everything I bought. There was a small line but it went by pretty quickly. I got there about 2 hours from when the Farmers Market opened and they already sold about half their pastry selections. They still had a decent amount of their bread selections though. I am definitely going to stop by again at an earlier time to try more of their pastries.“
“Super cute and loved the S'mores cookie! They are so thoughtful to have a certain number warmed up, so you can enjoy it immediately in all of its gooey, marshamllow-y chocolatey glory. You can also take home sealed ones for friends/family. They also have bags of cookies for 12 dollars for 6 I believe. Love the wealth of flavors to try. I was particularly curious about the strawberry dipped in chocolate, so will have to try that + the Peppermint brownie next time! Along the main street in Half Moon Bay, great to walk this tiny strip because there's a lot of wonderful shops, restaurants here.“

They matched the birthday theme perfectly. Additionally, Robin delivered the baked goods to us which was a life saver during the chaos of party prep and lack of refrigerator space. The cake came in the best cake box that was so easy to open and reuse for transportation. Same with the cupcakes box. “Ordered strawberry, Almond and matcha mochi cubes .Love the strawberry so much !Crispy puff inside with custard, strawberry cream with slice strawberries on top , super delicious ! Sauce is light , delicate and flavorful ( pulp inside ).Mochi Cubes is ok , it’s not crispy texture , but matcha cream light and you can tell they used good matcha powder.Almond is too rich for me , but still good .“
