“These people are so kind and have such great food. We were in Oakland late and were hungry and wanted some great Medetranian food, but we arrived just as they were closing. But on learning our situation they prepared a world-class dinner and allowed us (and 2 children) to dine in. “Amazing Banh Mi sandwich. Great fresh bread that was soft and crunch, super tender and flavorful pork, fresh veggies, creamy mayo. It was actually bangin. Potato salad was alright, probably wouldn't get again. Need to try more sandwiches from here.“

“Best Persian food in the East Bay. I have tried all of them. Fresh, delicious and made to order. Nice people and wonderful flavors. I had the falafel and salmon wraps and they were amazing. The salmon was marinated in advance of grilling and therefore had its own distinct flavor. The falafel balls were very tasty and the wrap bread used for both was original middle eastern bread. I've also had the meat plates and rice. The meat was tender and flavorful and grilled to order. The bolani was amazing, freshly made, and packed items ready to take home are also authentic and delicious. They have vegetarian & vegan options in addition to meat.“

“I love this place and go at least once or twice a month..My wife loves the chicken shawarma either the plate or the wrap..I love the falafel, and the lamb shawarma..This time I hooked up with a dear friend, she and I ordered the lamb shanks..the serving is huge!! Wonderful rice, and a separate plate with yogurt , cucumber sald and a cabbage salad..tremendouws value, but to much meat for me..So I am sticking with my go to items mentioned above...We had the Kanefa(?) it was not the best i have had..that was in Dearborn, but my friend di not care for it, so the baker gave her two more different dessert servings..so typical of the genorisity of this place. I grew in this neighborhood and must say or Muslim neighbors eatery is a welcome addition!!“

“We started with Kavoura and Spanakopita Meze. Then Lamb Chops and Spanakopia dinner with a small salad and Tiropita. Finished with Baklava and Galaktoboureko. Lamb was prepared as ordered, potatoes were tasty. Kavoura is a Greek Artichoke and Crab dip, very good. Spanakopita is Spinach filled Tiropita is Cheese filled My sister had never been here but since they are closing I gave her a treat, she was VERY PLEASED“
