There's a variety of noodle options available. We tried the Phnom Penh Noodle Special dry and soup, Beef and Meatball Noodle, Pork Rice Porridge with fried breadstick, and ordered round bread on the side. While the round bread was too dense and hard, the meat bread had too many onions. Despite the rushed service causing a couple of mistakes, the overall experience was quite good, with fast and efficient customer service. It was very hard to find parking there so we had to park in the neighborhood.“

The noodles in spicy sauce are great. The pot stickers are also a great choice if you like a crunch with your savory dish.The fried rice was the only thing I thought was just ok. “Our family of four came here while on v Our family of four went here for dinner as it was within walking distance of our hotel that we were staying at to go to Disneyland. We ordered the family meal named "La Tablita" as it had pork, steak and chicken with tortillas, veggies, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. My 11 year old daughter really enjoyed making a soft taco with steak and so did my 7 year old son. My wife had a pork taco and a steak and enjoyed them both and ate some chicken without a taco. My wife said the steak was the best. I had a taco with all three meats and enjoyed them all. I thought the chicken tasted the best. We all really enjoyed the food but we went at 7 pm and it was super busy and the service was a little slow. The restaurant had a very casual feel and we only got chips and salsa when we asked for it. The salsa was a little too heavy on tomatoes but still tasted good. If we were in the area again, we would definitely come here again. acation and we wanted to see if a highly rated Cambodian restaurant could come close to my wife and her mom's cooking at home. We decided to order three dishes and share them between the four of us. My 7 year old son and I really enjoy Asian noodles so I ordered the Beef Pad See-Ew. This dish was brought out first and all four of us really enjoyed them. Even my 11 year old daughter enjoyed the noodles although she doesn't care for them at home. They had a nice Cambodian assortment of vegetables in them and really hit the spot. The second dish we ordered was Beef sticks as we all enjoy them. These were good to all of us but were a little sweeter than we expected. We did notice how all the beef on the stick was so neatly and evenly placed which is hard to do for us. It would be awesome to know how that is done but we didn't ask. One of my daughter's favorite Cambodian meals is Beef and Prahok so of course, we ordered BBQ beef with Prahok. The Prahok sauce came out looking different than what we make at home. My daughter spread it over her rice and did not like it due to a lack of spice. When we asked for peppers and added them to the sauce, the food got better but we all agreed we like what we make at home better. Overall, the meal was good but if we were in the area, we would give another Cambodian restaurant a shot.“

The broth is really strong and not super clean like other ramen, so if you like stronger more oily broths, this would be the place to go. Really good karrage as well.“
“I'm not sure what the low ratings are about. It may not be the trendiest place, but it sure is a solid go-to for no frills, yummy ramen. The space is small and connected to a karaoke bar; some of the sound gets through. Value is their selling point. $9 gets you a satiating bowl of ramen while paying $3 more still gets you a heftyyyy size. The Kotteri Shoyu ramen was flavorful and the noodles were well-cooked. The only thing I would dock a star for is the chashu seeming a little dry or overdone for my liking, but that wouldn't be enough to stop me from coming back though. Service was quick. We were in and out in 20 min!“

And the Thai tea tasted pretty good! It was a little pricey, more than i had hoped to spend, but mostly worth it when im dying from a cold and want pho lol. It's nice to see everyone working at a tolerable speed where I don't think they're stressed out and orders aren't taking more than 20 mins. My experience with Kimbap at other restaurants is they take more than 30 mins because they're also dealing with online orders, phone orders and in house orders. But I believe everyone at this restaurant was doing that but still making good time management without sacrificing the quality and presentation of the food. I had an order of beef kimbap and an order of spam Kimbap. I'm looking forward to trying out more of the menu here when I'm in the area.“
“Sushi Boy has always been our go to place for sushi and party platters. For Christmas, we ordered a California platter at their location in Torrance on 190th St. Glad they're ipen on Christmas day 2022. The place looks rundown and dark and not appealing but the service was good and everyone was friendly. Placing an order was easy and our order was ready for pick up upon our arrival. They are in the same plaza as Walmart close to Starbucks. Lots of parking available. The California platter comes with California rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and salmon rolls. Everyone loved it and everything was fresh. They also give you the wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, little bowls for your sushi dipping. All was great and it was the hit at our party. I got the orange chicken because it didn't have soy and the person I was with got the Mongolian beef with noodles. I ordered on the phone the person was very sweet and knowledgeable and very considerate about my allergies. Everything arrived very sealed tight in plastic accept for my orange chicken and it had a cool opener the radish it looked like it was seasoned with ginger. It came with a side of rice. I felt I didn't really need the rice because the orange chicken was so flavorful. I like the idea of Korean Chinese fusion! Definitely will be coming back here.“

Pho 881 is definitely in my opinion the best pho in long Beach. I used to go to pho hong phat/long before but it just isn't as good when it was pho hong long. After trying pho 881 for the first time today, I highly recommend this place if you don't want to drive to little Saigon. I ordered the pho dac biet and was delicious.Broth was nice and clean. Kids 4 and under eat free, and 5-i think 12 are 1/2 off. What I'm not use to was the service charge, 18%. I asked if that's what the tip was, and the employee said, yeah kinda. Typically, that's what you automatically get charged for parties 6 and more, which we normally pay 20% anyway. But to be forced to pay 18% regardless, i think is unfair. Esp since minimum wage has gone up, and prices per person has gone up, it isn't fair for the customer to be triple charged. On top of that, the receipt still asked for a tip. I don't think an establishment should stick their hand out so much, it's quite embarrassing to put the customer on the spot like that.“

Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.“

It was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and everything was fresh and made to order. “The Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen was perfect for my late night ramen craving! Not only is Giraffe Ramen delicious for takeout, it's actually tastier than many of the ramens I've had dining at ramen shops. It comes topped with wood ear mushrooms, half a soft-boiled egg, bean sprouts, bamboo, ginger, green onions, and of course two tender cuts of tonkotsu. The broth is nicely flavored without being too salty. I really appreciated the thoughtful packaging which separated the noodles/topping and broth in separate compartments within one container so it doesn't get soggy. The container is tied up in a plastic bag to prevent spill. The ratio of noodles/topping and broth was perfect. The next time you have a rainy day ramen craving, give Giraffe Ramen a try!“
