The service was very friendly, and, since you choose your slices, you get your food fairly quickly.Except for me, everyone else who came had take out. They had six tables that sat 4 to 6 people. I was able to kill an hour of my bus wait time in comfort.This is a nice little place. My only concern was that my receipt said "Miami Bar and Grill", not "Maya's Gourmet Pizza". No big deal.“

“We had a great experience at Garage Buona! Atmosphere is rustic but very clean and inviting. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was great! We shared a salad and lasagna bolognes. Plenty of food for two lightweight adults.Parking: You might have to walk a bit if you park on the street but the restaurant is in a lovely urban area with great shops along the way.“

“My family and i are visiting from las vegas and we went to Calianos after st. Patty's day and the staff was awesome. There was a miscommunication on our part and they took care of it. “Stopped by today for lunch while getting a charge on my car and ordered their lunch special of pizza and salad. I had a slice with spinach, artichokes, and I think an Alfredo base, and the guy taking our order recommended the Greek salad. Both were excellent and made a fantastic lunch, I wish I wasn't just passing through or I would be back later today or tomorrow to try some of their other slices. If I had one critique it might be that the tables could have used a wipe down as it was tough to find a relatively clean one. Maybe they just wrapped up a lunchtime rush, however. Definitely hope to get another opportunity to visit in the future.“

“A nice little spot in Coronado. Employees were great. I ordered a Sicilian sausage and pepper pizza, pizza knots, an Italian chopped salad. Everything was very good. I think in the future I will ask for extra cheese and garbanzo beans in the salad, just because I like them so much. Refillable soft drinks are available, you just have to go to them to refill which was not a problem at all.“

The service has always been very quick for us and we usually have a party of 7-8 people. The waitress takes good care of you and is very attentive to their clients. We ordered the meatballs (absolutely delicious, they were soft and cooked to perfection), the Rosemary pizza (also delicious) only minor complaint, I would have preferred a slightly crispier crust), two small side salads (fresh and nicely dressed), and Tiramisu. Fun fact, I’m not a tiramisu fan at all… and was planning to order something else. But, Nico gently persuaded us to order the Tiramisu … and it was really good… creamy, moist, and not too sweet. His name was Donovan and he had told me that the people who work there are family. You can tell by the way he treated us that he takes pride in his family's business. “We are locals in Coronado and have dined at Il Fornaio regularly for lunch for many years. We enjoy the fine quality of the cuisine and the rotating specials which keeps us coming back for something different. The big bonus is that on most Monday’s to Wednesday’s we can bring our own bottle of wine without paying a corkage fee. The staff, Lucca, Demitro, Jorge, Leo and many others make us feel very welcome. We went away for a number of years and were so happy to see it was still here in 2021 upon our return! I ended up getting it to-go because I was fishing nearby on the pier (only a 10 minute walk). By the time I got to the pier my pizza was a little cold and the crust was hard to eat but it did the job. For the price and what you get I am very satisfied. Not the best pizza I had but I did enjoy the ricotta cheese topped pizzas and the workers were extremely nice.“
