I went on a Saturday and no one was there, I asked for my order and it took them about 30 minutes to give it to me. Then I went to ask if my food was ready or was it going to take longer, to which they told me that it had been ready for a while but they couldn't find a bowl to put my birria broth in. When they finally gave me my food the tortillas for my tacos were cold ?. However, the food was delicious! I highly recommend the asada street tacos. On walkabout downtown and was craving a taco. And what goes great with a taco? An M Special IPA, of course...so how awesome is it that this new Corazon spinoff is located inside M Special on State Street!? Serendipity? I think so... The birria taco was amazing (as was the IPA), and I'll be back!

This was my third time ordering the birria grilled cheese special - it is one of the best things I've eaten in Santa Barbara! But, sadly, this past time I ordered it, they didn't seem to grill it long enough (see photo). The cheese wasn't all the way melted and it didn't have a full coating of crispy bread on the outside like usual. The other two times I had it were both phenomenal! The esquites was refreshing and delicious.
