Friendly service and tasty Italian Ice make Mangione's a must return. I guess this goes without saying, but go into Mangione's with your expectations set correctly. The ice does not have the richness of ice cream or gelato...for obvious reasons. But if you want a tangy refreshing ice during a downtown shopping spree. Look no further. We will return.
So so very yummy! My fave is the pistachio, coconut, and mango but I really think you can’t go wrong. The owners are always so sweet, giving my pup a little taste of the peanut butter every time we visit!

I’m from Philadelphia so I often seek out local Italian ice (“water ice”) spots to try. This was by far THE BEST I have found!!! I mixed the melon and watermelon. The flavor was amazing and the texture was perfect (soft, smooth, no clumps of ice). We can’t wait to come back to SB to have it again!
