“I’ve been here 4 times for dinner and always great food, great service at a great price. The brisket burnt ends over Mac n cheese are fantastic. Remember people, they are burnt ends so if you don’t like extra well done brisket don’t get them. I say that because there are people complaining because they are burnt color.The burgers are hand shaped, not a disk like other places and tender and juicy. Got the strawberry stuffed French toast…omgggg yummm! Give this place a try for dinner!Parking: Plenty of free parking“
“I have lived in Milpitas for 3 1/2 years now, and only recently 'discovered' this hidden gem right at the end of the street I live on!!! Their menu is varied enough to have a great selection, but not so much that it's overwhelming. The minute you enter their diner, you're greeted with a warm Good Morning or Good Afternoon! The staff is very attentive and friendly; we felt like members of the family from our first visit! The food is priced fairly, which is hard to say about almost any other restaurant I've been in lately, and, it is delicious! There you have it...Welcoming, friendly staff, great menu selection, delicious food, priced fairly. A recipe for success, obviously since they've been there for over 20 years! Try it, you will not be disappointed!“
“First of all our waitress was awesome, the best service around. The food was also delicious, I don’t usually finish my plate but here I just had to. I ordered an open turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and it was delicious. The lentil soup was perfect, reminded me of my mom’s lentil soup.“
“Came in on a Thursday afternoon. Was only 2 other people at first but then it started to pick up and fill up. Food came out quick. The Brioche French Toast was amazing. Service was excellent as well. Jeremy was a great server, was super attentive, and always made sure to check in on me to see if I needed anything even though he was the only server and had plenty tables. He was the same way with the other tables as well.“
“Was visiting San Jose from out of town and needed breakfast. There was nothing that looked good downtown so I searched “diner” and looked for one with a parking lot. This place blew my mind!!! We were seated right away, there were a lot of regulars and the wait staff knew their names. The waitress knew the menu really well which is extremely important for me as I have a weird food sensitivity for a really common seasoning. I was able to order exactly what I wanted, the Turkey and avocado eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I never would have thought to put Turkey on that, and I’m not the biggest fan of Turkey but this was so juicy and fresh it was quite delicious. My partner ordered the chicken and waffles and got two meals out of it easy and couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. I can’t imagine a better diner experience. The menu had a lot of different options that helped fit my tricky dietary needs. I’m coming back every chance I get next time I’m in San Jose.“

“I came in today to place a togo order I choice the super slam cause the price and what I was looking for however they end up suggested great things so I went with what they suggested the food was delicious hot and ready the manager got my order right and everything I asked for. The restaurant was very clean and the decoration were amazing ? the team was very kind and friendly. I honest can say it’s the best dennys I have been to.it wasn’t just me but many people paying up front where happy with there visit from what I hear. Will be back soon.“
“We visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is quite large and has a very authentic "retro" feel to it. They have all your favorites, I'm sure your grandma would love to join you for all day breakfast or dinner (they also have a very distinctive "eau of your grandma's house" scent, which adds to the overall experience).Food was plentiful and well priced.We had the following:-Veal Parmesan: Very similar in taste to what you'd expect from an eggplant parmesan. Didn't really care for the side of pasta.The meal also included a bowl of soup (we opted for clam chowder, which was delicious) and desert. The strawberry ice cream is great!!-Pastrami sandwich: very tasty and filling. It was an absolute treat. I'd skip the coleslaw tho, not my favorite.Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. “Wow the coffee shop brings back so much nostalgia of old school coffee shop diner style. We came in on a Sunday afternoon. My son was craving for pancakes. We knew if we went to any of the other breakfast spots it would be so packed and have a long wait. This place really hits the spot. Love that they offer rice as an option to your plate combination. There pancakes were comforting. Nothing crazy. The kids loved them. There omelettes were great too! The menu is pretty straightforward and there's nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Our food came out fast and the service was great! Definitely will be coming back and have the kids bowl next time after brunch.“

“Have been eating here for the last couple weeks,(once last weekend tonight) in the evening around 8:30 or 9:00 the host and the cooks are awesome super friendly very good personality good atmosphere very helpful and I see them helping the other customers too. Double cheeseburgers are awesome and the fries are awesome too even after we got it home!“
