“first time at this restaurant amazing food service was impeccable Ken was our server his recommendations were fabulous we had the wedge salad and shrimp appetizer very good then the tomahawk steak was A1 i had the filet mignon spinach and potatoes i would go back for sure .“

“I finally had the opportunity to check out Restaurant Gish! I've had the place bookmarked for a while after reading one of my friend's reviews. Due to dietary preferences (i.e. I don't eat pork), I patiently waited for a menu that didn't appear to have pork as an ingredient. The restaurant was cozy and quaint, and it's kind of in an obscure location in a strip mall. I treated myself to dinner at Restaurant Gish and had an overall wonderful experience. I made reservations for 1 at the Chef's counter. What was cool was that the other guest at the counter was also treating herself for dinner and had never been to Restaurant Gish. The hospitality of the chefs were exceptional. They were all very pleasant and personable. In addition to sharing their inspiration and ingredients for each dish, they were fun just fun to chat with. Prior to serving the first dish, one of the chefs asked about my dietary preferences. I mentioned that I don't eat pork. He pointed out how one of the sauces had a sauce base, but he said they could modify the sauce without pork in order to comply with my preference. In fact, I learned that they modify ingredients all the time for guests. I don't have to wait so long for a menu without pork next time. Restaurant Gish offered a prix fixe menu. I opted for the wine pairings, which I thought went quite well with each dish. The last two wines paired with the entree and dessert were particularly outstanding. I enjoyed everything I ate, but I especially loved the lamb.“

“The ambiance and service here is top notch and we really enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately the food was just a little bland and the Chorizo Benedict tasted much more like a tomato sauce than chorizo but the chilaquiles were very good. The drink menu was the best part with great bloody Marys and non alcoholic options.“

I also liked the corn bread. Small eatery. Simple setting. Self-service. Cheap utensils. For the price they charge and the sake of cutting meats, they should have invested better cutleries.They also run food truck around the area.“

“We ordered mozzarella sticks, kids cheese quesadilla, Cuban sandwich with fries and a strawberry shake which came to around $54 before tips. In general it was typical diner food, fries and mozzarella sticks were likely double fried (over fried) and the Cuban sandwich was decent. Strawberry shake was good ?“

Generous portions without being overwhelming and what sets them apart are the noticeably superior quality of ingredients.Today our experience was even better thanks to our excellent server Esteban! “I just attended a Graduation Party at The Halford. It was a very nice experience. Good food, ample seating, robot servers. The owner Sophia went out of her way to make the party a success. And there are live trivia games that you can play I Plan to have future events there .“

“If you're craving a burger this is definitely the place to come to!! SO much variety and they make their own chips and provide free pickles which are very refreshing to add to your burger!! Went here for a dinner with friends before a comedy show and I love that they're open all day so we could head over for an early meal before our 7pm show in Santa Clara! The person taking the order was so friendly and the process is so easy with the huge menus - easy to read and with SO MANY choices - burgers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, tons of sides to pick from in different sizes. And their drink selections are great - I LOVE diet dr. pepper which many places don't serve so I was super happy!!! The drinks are a self serve which is super helpful. They don't leave out napkins but servers walking around are happy to provide extra for you when you ask. So you order - get a number - find a table (which there are many options with high tops, regular seating, bar seating, outdoor seating... The food comes out fairly quickly and it's DELICOUS!! We got the ABC Burger which has avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese! My friends got it and devoured it. They said it was really good... They also enjoyed their sweet potato fries! Love the waffle shape and they had different dips they provided which were delicious. I got the Havarti Shroom! SO GOOD - especially when you add in the pickles! Hubby got the Seared Ahi Tuna Sandwich which he also devoured - having the skinny crispy fried onions provided a lot of texture and flavor. I may have to get that myself next time. And we shared a side of onion rings - crispy - wasn't oily tasty with a super light batter. For a "side" they give you a lot... I also added pics from our first visit there when they first opened. I got the short rib grilled cheese sandwich! OMG DECADENT... I LOVED that sandwich and SO filling! Hubby went completely opposite and went healthy and got the falafel wrap which he enjoyed - was light and tons of veggies with the falafel. LOVE this place - service is great - friendly and fast. and FOOD and options! hands down the BEST!! I love they give you so many options - decadent to healthy!! Our go to for burgers and sandwiches and just American classics for SURE!!“

“Had the special fish and chips. Simple lunch but very good. Fries were crisp and fish was cooked perfectly. Friend with me had the Chicken Philly and he said it was very good. Very friendly staff and would absolutely recommend having lunch here. Will be back in the future to try the pizza's which another party was having and it looked delicious.“

“The food was a bit of a mixed bag! Their fried food is lovely; crispy and well seasoned, it’s freshly fried and piping hot when it hits the table. My friend got the tri-tip sandwich and greatly enjoyed it, my partner and I got a half rack of ribs with Mac and cheese and baked beans. The Mac and cheese was decent but a bit grainy, and the baked beans were mostly nice but very heavy on the cumin, and the ribs had a nice smokey flavor but you had to work a bit to get the meat off the bones. The staff was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was laid back and their tap options were excellent.“

“We stayed at the Embassy Suites while in Santa Clara on business and we were so happy we gave this place a try! We didn't eat food we had cocktails from the best bartender we ever met! Her name is Mimi and she's a true professional. All I'll say is every drink we had she absolutely killed it. We look forward to coming back! Get you a Mimi's Starbucks and Mimi's Amaretto Sour you'll thank us later!“

“Great breakfast experience. We were planning to go into SF early in the morning, and we decided to eat breakfast on the way. This place was the only place on the way that was open, and we got really lucky!! The food never missed any flavor from every ingredients!! The food portion was little bit heavy for me considering eating full burrito at 8am. We went there 8am on Saturday morning. The place was half filled. Very friendly servers and very attentive!! Plenty of parking space.“

We ordered a couple of the IPAs and enjoyed them, along with the regular fries.It's pretty self-serve - you order at the bar and get a buzzer for the food. Solid service and solid drink and food. They have a happy hour starting at 7 pm the weekdays, and starting at 5pm on weekends. There's a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. On Friday at 5ish, it was busier than I've ever seen it but enough seats for a few more parties!“
