“?CHICKEN ADOBO OMELETTE $17If you like sour food you might like this very typical Filipino dish! Vinegar cooked omelette rice! When it was served, it was really fragrant and appetizing! But I personally don’t like vinegar very much, so the taste doesn’t quite suit me.?DA SITUATION $13I like this very much! It’s a dish that’s perfect for brunchI like the crispy texture added by the tots inside~You can choose the meat according to your preference. We chose Lechon roast suckling pig.?SPICY GARLIC SHRIMP $19Seeing this makes me miss the food trucks in Hawaii.Their seasoning is good and the garlic flavor is less intense compared to the Hawaiian food truck. The problem is that as someone who grew up by the seaI think its shrimps are not very fresh (the meat is not firm but soft)“

“Casual hawaiian eatery located in the Maplewood Plaza. Bright space with wooden chairs and tables inside, and a few tables outside too. Employee took my order at the front counter (standard service), though there's a self-order kiosk as well. Order was ready in 5-10 minutes, no other customers at the time. Got the mini loco moco, and the meat, gravy, mac salad, everything was flavorful and satisfying... the mini size was sufficient for a filling meal. Based on taste, I'd say this would be one of my top 2 hawaiian spots in the south bay.“

“Closest to Hawaiian poke in the area. Really fresh and flavorful. A bit pricey for the amount of stuff given. Every time I've been there the employees aren't very welcoming but it's a quick grab and go place. No inside dining.“

“First time to a Hukilau since the Palo Alto & SF restaurants closed. There's a bar at the front of thea long hallway to the dining area. Food was as good as I remember it was but the atmosphere in the dining area wasn't as good as it was at the other restaurants. I'd say the lighting made it feel like an old coffee shop“

“Pros: Food and service is great. nice portions, fresh and tasty. right next to a bubble tea. Cons: Over $20 for a 3 protein bowl is ridiculous. Although good, still pricy. u can find good Poke for less and inside was HOT. no air. I would probably not go back due to the price but if that doesnt bother u go and enjoy.“

“The food was amazing! We ordered the chicken katsu and the BBQ mix. Everything was so flavorful and very generous portions. The macaroni salad was hands down one of the best I've had. If they have it, try out the pinapple cream soda.“

“This is my new favorite place to get grilled chicken. I like the BBQ chicken with salad and extra veggies instead of rice. Feels healthy, but more importantly, it tastes great! I get take out about once a week, because I start craving it after a few days. It’s enough for two days, so I think the price is good too. I liked the staff, they served with a smile and were happy to explain options and sauces. The eat in restaurant style is typical basic fast food, but it felt clean and reasonably maintained. For once, the pictures of the food were fairly accurate to what I got. (No Burgerking lawsuit here!)“

“This junk food junkie loved my first ever bowl. And it was vegan and gluten free so I can't even believe how awesome it was. I ordered the pineapple teriyaki cauliflower bowl with no bell peppers and added mushrooms instead and absolutely everything was delicious! I ordered it served with the sesame scallion rice and I can't even believe how much I loved that rice!It was a really big portion and totally filled me up. I couldn't even finish the sweet potato salad, which was also really good. I thought I would be hungry because there was no meat in my meal but nope. Totally happy and ready for a nap. Wish my boss would let me take one LOL!I found them through GrubHub and the meal arrived nice and warm. I will definitely be ordering Lulu bowls again!“

“I've doordashed from Poke house many times. The order always comes quickly. PersonalIy I like getting the large bowl because it's only a couple dollars more. The large bowl comes with 4 scoops of protein. I got the spicy tuna, ahi tuna and two scoops of salmon. The fish is always fresh and portion size is generous!“

“A decent value for a lot of food. Asking for everything on top of the fish actually works; all the ingredients work together.Parking: Use the parking garage in Bryant, then cut through the alleyway straight to Ava's market. The poke bar is inside Ava's.“

“Really nice little poke place. Worker was extremely nice and helpful in explaining whatever questions I had. $15 for 3 scoops is a really good steal compared to other places I've frequented which cost more and/or had limited topping selections for their price. Will come again if I'm ever craving poke !“

“Poke House has been my go to around the SJ area. As someone who enjoys poke and am more of a toppings fan, I find Poke House has good options for both, with a good portion size. It's located in a plaza so plenty of parking, with outdoor seating for its customers. I took off one star due to my pick up experience. I typically order online and come by to pick up. However, I was 45 min away from the destination and decided to do a later pick up time so it'd be ready in 45 min. 5 minutes go by, and I get a notification that my poke is ready. By the time I arrive, I see that my order has been sitting on the shelf, not even in a fridge by any means. Kind of disappointed to know that my food has been sitting out for 40 minutes and wasn't made for my pickup time. Fish was no longer cold or tasted fresh, food felt like room temp and dry by then. Besides this, I find the shop good otherwise. I won't recommend doing later pick ups, on time/ASAP seems to be the best option for them and you.“

“High prices aside (is airport food after all) Trader Vics always leave me a nice impression when taking my flights from SJC. The service is always super friendly and attentive (making sure you know where to get your napkins and asking if you have enough cutlery. Their napa salad is truly delicious with fresh ingredients and that passion fruit dressing is amazing. The fruit cups are also very fresh. For me Trader Vics has the healthiest of options and it is the cleanest restaurant at that airport, with plenty of clean seats.“

“Had a delightful Friday night indulging in fine dining with my family. The venue was cozy and pleasantly uncrowded, with excellent service. The set menu provided a worry-free experience, and I particularly enjoyed the tasty scallops and fusion flavors of the cauliflowers. Despite not being a fan of chocolate cake, I was pleasantly surprised by its deliciousness!“
