“We really enjoyed our meal. Great food and service by our server. With exception that , when we arrived the manger was not very inviting. We just wanted to let them know about our party. She seamed bothered and annoyed our inquiry. Upon leaving, I had to use the restroom and noticed that there was no soap in the restroom so I went to report it to the manager and again I was treated as if it was a bother for me to report the neglect. After noticing the sign in the restroom that said all employee should wash their hands. I was not confident that my complaint would be remedied anytime soon.”

First, the chef is friendly, and most importantly, the reasonably priced rolls and sushi are very satisfying.

“We were greeted warmly by a server and got seated in a little cute and cozy corner of our choice. The foods were brought out pretty quick and very fresh. We got French Toast Royal, the blueberry cream cheese is so delicious and vegetarian omelette which was a big enough portion for sharing. The sourdough toast with butter is so good. When we left, we met Amy the owner. Amy is very friendly and sweet. We definitely will come back.”

A small storefront close to the beach at the corner of Ocean and Main, my favorite moment was walking in on the previous customer, complementing them in how nice and service oriented they always are.

Walkup. Often strolling with your takeout along main Street. Two narrow tables with six seats in front of Marina Cafe.

Had a banana Nutella crepe and espresso to dine in yummy. Enjoyed it. Solid 4 getting the +1 for quaint little family owned stop in downtown Seal Beach.”

“I've been eating here for years now after a friend introduced me to the place. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating, the vibe is casual. Although it can be crowded at times and parking can be tricky, it's worth the effort.

The standout is the food. I love Mexican food and this is one of my two all-time favorite spots. The menu includes most, if not all, of the usual items -- but features several items not found in every Mexican restaurant: Yucatan Fish Pot, Lobster and Crab Enchiladas (served separately, not mixed together), and Yucatan Barbecue Street Tacos, to name a few of my favorites. They also serve saffron rice as a side dish, and offer seven desserts if you still have room after your meal. Just don't get there before I do and take the last booth!

“This is my third visit to this restaurant chain and my second time at this particular location. The establishment offers a wonderful dining experience with a self-seating arrangement. Enjoy sports on the televisions and pleasant background music. The happy hour menu is exceptional—I drive 20 miles for the Sriracha cheese curds, which pair perfectly with a good beer or vodka lemonade. The bacado (bacon & avocado) burger is truly outstanding. Additionally, the $7 smashburger available on Thursdays (limited time offer) is fresh, flavorful, and superior to fast food alternatives. The restaurant operates smoothly thanks to remarkable teamwork. Tables are turned over quickly, servers are attentive, and there is clear communication between the front and back of house. Pop in & you won't be dissappointed ENJOY!!! 😉

What sets it apart is the exceptional service—there's rarely a line, and the staff, especially Felicia, are incredibly welcoming and efficient. Felicia greets me with a smile and goes above and beyond in our interactions, making each visit special. All the staff members remember both my name and my usual order, which is a nice personal touch. I'm a fan of the Blonde Roast, and thankfully, this location consistently has it in stock, unlike others nearby. If you're looking for a quick, friendly, and consistent coffee experience, this is the place to go.”

“Horrible customer service! We have been wanting to try it and were in the area today… cashier was friendly and polite, but when we got home we were given the wrong order. They handed us our bag, we asked if it was the bento box, and were told it was, but it wasn’t. Honest mistake. I called to see if I could come back tomorrow to get it replaced, at first the cashier said yes, just give him my name. The manager got on the phone, told me it was my fault and she had already lost too much money on it and that she wasn’t going to make me another. She kept arguing then hung up on me 😡. Sadly, we will never go back.”

“We really love the food at Baja Fresh, no matter which location you go to, the food is exactly the same--same size, same ingredients, cooked the same, & especially, tastes the same with the same quality & attention to making it. The locations are always clean & the employees are always friendly, helpful, kind & patient. So, Baja Fresh restaurants are all very consistent which is one of the reasons that we like them so much. We haven't been to Baja Fresh for awhile because there isn't one near our home in North Long Beach, but we always make a point to eat at store 30640 on Seal Beach Blvd. when we are passing that location or have business in that area. Like I said, we always count on good, fresh, tasty, food assembled & cooked the same & at the same price. We went to eat there on 10/11/24, my Partners birthday & ordered our usual items. Well, I must say that when we got our meals & tasted them, they just didn't taste right, or the same as it always had. Don't misunderstand me, the food was still fresh, good & tasty, but not like it used to. Although we could be wrong, we determined that the ingredients seemed to be a slightly lower quality than previously used, that they weren't 'top of the line' as they used to have. Our food overall lost it's 'spark' that we loved so much. We'll try eating there again to check if the issue was a one time situation, but, if we find that the negative change is permanent, we will cut back on the visits that we do make & find a replacement restaurant instead. I hate change like this kind. Especially because it appears quality was sacrificed to save a few $$$, but it greatly affected the flavor of the food too. Saving a few $$$ can sometimes lead to losing a few more $$$$ somewhere else (customers not liking the food as much & not going there with their $$$$ to eat.) were hoping though, it was just a 'fluke' & the next time we visit, everything will be back to normal.

Dietary restrictions: I don't eat spicy food & always request no hot sauce in my food, but it usually tastes good & doesn't need it iny opinion.

Parking: The lot is busy, but there are plenty of spaces, although you may not get a parking spot right up front close to the store. Don't worry though, its only a short walk from the car to restaurant in any case.”
