“Great little place for delicious pan-asian food! Don't be fooled by its food shack aesthetic; it's not a fast service place! They really take their time to prepare your food but the wait is well worth it. Highly recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee if you're looking for not-your-average cup of joe for the morning. Also their breakfast sandwich is so much better than others you can get for the same price at Starbucks etc.“
“Slightly pricey with smaller portions, but unmistakably good food. Their staple banh mi is great, their com sung is solid, and their teas are delicious, but it's hard to justify the prices for the quantity you get. Service is decently quick, with two very friendly and charming owners. However, the restaurant can get very hot in the summer without air conditioning. Overall a lovely family owned place, albeit slightly expensive.“
“I LOVE this place. I have visited many times (both their Cotati and Sebastopol locations) and everything I have tried has been phenomenal. Bright, fresh flavors and a fun menu. I've tried their sandwiches, jook, nutty noods (my daughter's favorite) and crispy rice salad (incredible). All have been absolutely delicious. Their space in Cotati is super cute with fun interior and a lovely patio. Highly recommend this yummy place.“
“I was on my way to get dinner from Oliver's when I walked past this tiny restaurant and caught a whiff of the most delicious smelling foods through the open window. Immediately changing my plans, I walked into this restaurant and was greeted by a very friendly chef behind the counter. I ordered a tofu noodle bowl, but they were low on noodles so she asked if she could do half/half noodles and rice which was totally fine with me. She also asked if I am vegan, which I'm not, but it's great that she takes that into consideration. She said come back in 10 minutes and it'll be ready for you. So I went to Oliver's next door to get other things that I wanted, came back and paid cash, which is preferred. She made polite convo and also gave me a bag for my takeout AND for the stuff I got at Oliver's which was very kind. I ate at home, because there is no seating here except a waiting bench, and it was soooo stinking delicious. I don't know how she makes this tofu, but I wish I could make it like that at home. I absolutely will be back here when I am visiting my mom for the holidays!“
“Fantastic place, so clean, and the donuts are always fresh and delicious. I absolutely love the big smile on the server's face every time. Service is fast and kind! I always leave feeling great, and I know when I bring the donuts to work everyone will also be happy! Highly recommend this place 10/10.“
“We Could Eat Here EverydayWe discovered Lee’s while staying at a nearby hotel. It was love at first bite! The authentic Vietnamese restaurant is outstanding. The menu offers Pho, noodles, Banh Mi, stir fry, fried rice, and chow mein, all available in seafood, beef, pork, or chicken. There are also vegan and kids menus.Lee and his wife are lovely hosts, making everyone welcome. Lee’s sense of humor is contagious. We enjoyed lively conversation and his attentive service. We dearly loved the shrimp chow mein, shrimp/squid noodle soup, Vietnamese spring rolls with shrimp and pork, and steamed pot stickers. All were fantastic, but warning – servings are enormous. We had too much food to finish. Also, Lee’s does not serve alcohol but has a wide variety of beverages on hand.Try them when in the area; you’ll be glad you did.“
“"Mai Vietnamese Cuisine is my go-to spot for lunch, and I'm always delighted with their offerings. Without fail, I opt for the S2 Pho, but with a twist - I substitute the original broth with Bun Bo Hue broth, which infuses the dish with a delightful spiciness. The Bun Bo Hue broth boasts rich flavors that elevate the soup to another level, providing a satisfying kick. Additionally, they provide a variety of fresh veggie sides to enhance the pho experience. I never miss out on their freshly made spring rolls, a perfect accompaniment to the meal. I highly recommend giving it a try! Beyond the delicious food, the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming; it's evident that the owner takes pride in the restaurant, often seen working alongside the team."“
“Absolutely delicious! The menu is huge and the food was wonderful, with huge portions--and an excellent selection of vegan options. Service was excellent, and staff is very knowledgeable about vegan food. The setting is lovely and peaceful, with a fountain at the entrance. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Don't miss it if you're in the Santa Rosa area.“
“Authentic and simply delicious. Love the special beef pho (pho dac biet), the vermicelli combo, pork banh mi, and the crispy tofu (garlic-y tastiness). If you sit in, you’ll often see an order of the crispy tofu on every table. The service is always excellent. This has made moving away from the South Bay and the readily accessible Vietnamese food in San Jose bearable and has definitely become my new go-to!“
“This is our go to take out place. We have been coming for years. Have to try spring rolls of some kind, our favorite are the bbq pork spring rolls. Beef onion wraps are a staple, and you could never go wrong with pho. Wait times are usually longer because they’re always busy, so order early!“
“Right across from Whole foods in a stand alone building on a street corner.Beef Broccoli w.Rice, Stir Fry Combo (pork, beef, chicken, shrimp) w.Rice were delicious, hot & fresh! The Lobster Egg Noodle Soup was not to our taste as broth didn't taste of lobster flavor at all so would avoid that dish.Service was excellent, our lovely waitress was a tall Indonesian lady!Recommend.“
“Nice and clean little Grateful Bagel I came across while searching on Yelp. I don't have to go very far like I use to go over by Chante Road which is the other side of town. Every time I've came here, my experience has been smoothly refreshing as there isn't much of a line and there's easily available parking everywhere. Easily located off of Stony Point Road headed west.“
“This place is near my home and they have Vietnamese coffee. That is amazing. The price is cheaper than Starbucks and I love it! They are friendly and welcoming. They offer sandwiches, chips, refreshments, Thai tea, and iced coffee. There's a few tables inside, I usually take my order to go. The sandwiches are a good size, always fresh and tasty. So far my favorite is the barbecue pulled pork sandwich.“
“My first visit to Simmer was because another restaurant I was heading to was only doing take out. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp. Tasty but breading was thick on some shrimp great on others. Quantity was good but had more bell pepper forward. Then I had a vegetable PHO that was excellent, some pieces needed to be cut smaller as the big pieces carried to much broth that got all over my shirt. Plus the waiter spilled Pho on the table delivery and it was on my shirt, pants and in my shoe. Service was attention was great.“
“I've enjoyed this place since 2008. Great food and many happy memories gathering here to share it. Attentive service is always much appreciated and their take-out orders are processed relatively quickly. My personal faves in the food department are the pho as well as the yummy spring rolls. All the food I've eaten here has been wonderful.“
“This is my absolute favorite pho joint anywhere in California. If I'm sick I will order 2 tubs of just the broth. They never give me a hard time when I make that order. Everything else is delicious as well. I love their imperial rolls. It's an easy, tidy, yummy authentic casual week night dinner Vietnamese food. I've also met friends there for lunch and the outside seating a lovely.“
