“My favorite Korean spot in Los Angeles. Did some research online for good kimchi and discovered this place. Their kimchi is fantastic, but then I also discovered this entire meal. This is perfect comfort food. Sunday mornings. Rainy afternoons or pretty much anytime you need something soupy in your life.“

A must if you need a nice quaint evening out. They go the distance in their menu options and seasonal specials. The cherry glazed pork chop was to die for!!! “Totally amazed by the great selection and quality of the food at lunch buffet. It was really good. They had chicken biryani, goat curry, chicken tikka massala, tandoori, chicken and so many other dishes. They also Chai tea and a good selection of sweet desserts. A gem of a spot and I'm glad I chanced upon it. This will be my go to for Indian buffet, authentic. Service was top notch too!!“
“Fantastic experience! Such friendly and attentive staff from host to servers to chefs. Sat at the chef’s counter and had the best time watching and interacting with the chefs. The food was absolutely delicious as were the cocktails. My only regrets were that I got the most popular items on the menu (fried chicken/collards - despite being delicious) and didn’t venture into some of their more unique dishes, like the wood grilled fish (chosen daily) with yassa sauce or the sweet potato dumplings, and that I didn’t have a chance to try the wine bar first because they had a private party. I had a bite of the off menu bread pudding which was ridiculous and also found their sauces a must try (esp the homemade apple bbq and spicy herb sauce). “One of the best Korean places I’ve been to. I loved their Pork Belly and Baby octopus dish. It had tons of bean sprouts which seemed a bit odd at first, but completed the dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned. A little sweet and salty but not too much of each. Very big portions and great side dishes.“

You order on an ipad screen at your own leisure.Ordered the half green onion and half garlic bossam with the pork belly kimchi stew.I highly recommend the garlic bossam if you enjoy garlic. The garlic mince is slightly sweet and pairs nicely with the pork. I personally didn't enjoy the green onion bossam as much because it's topped with a fermented soybean sauce, and in my opinion, the meat tasted significantly more gamey.The kimchi stew was really tasty. The spice level was perfect for someone like me who often orders mild or no spice dishes. It had a kick without being painful. The only complaint I would have is that the pork was quite dry and chewy. Also, rice is not automatically served with and you need to request it.For the banchan, the radish kimchi was a highlight while the pasta salad was very disappointing (it kind of just tasted like whole wheat bread but in a pasta form).Our server did a great job despite being the only one working the front.Parking: A small to medium sized parking lot shared by all the stores in that mall.“

“Lola’s kitchen popped up when I was roaming for food. The pictures of their food are spots on and exactly what you get. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and attentive to my dining experience. Good music everyone will enjoy in the background, when you walk in there the feeling you get is like being at your aunties house grabbing breakfast. I’d give a 10/10 but the stars only go up to 5/5 they nailed it for making my morning start right. If you’re in SFV you need to try this spot at least once“
“Excellent, spicy fried chicken. Easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pieces were large. I also had the fried okra, which was perfectly crisp. The baked beans were just the right amount of sweetness with a little bit of spice.Parking is extremely limited. Google maps shows a larger parking lot, but most of it is restricted to the residents of the building next door. You may need to park on the street and walk if you come during the busy time. Also, the restaurant is on the small side, so be prepared for a wait if they are busy.“

“My mom took me here a week ago. I came back a few days after. I absolutely love this hole in a wall. They are SUPER ADORABLE and you get a lot of food for the price. The bangus is amazingly crispy! The meals come with rice, a slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber, and the ulam. The vinegar is not overwhelmingly acidic, it goes very well with everything. I wish I lived and worked closer. This would definitely be my go to place.“
“Thanks to our fabulous server, Joshua- everything was perfect! Two members of our party had finished the LA Marathon and Josh went out of his way to make sure they got everything exactly as they wished. He treated them like Kings - which they deserved. The food, as usual, was fresh and delicious and fantastic. Major props to the whole kitchen crew for doing such a great job on such a busy day. Also- the grass fed beef in the true blue burger is amazingly tender and fresh. Only to be topped by the grass fed ice cream on top of freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies.“

“Randomly tried this place when I was in the area and it was just what I needed. I had the lunch special and the portion was HUGE. The bread tasted amazing and the chicken was not overcooked which tends to happen at so many other places. The service was friendly. Thank you.“
