“One word to describe this establishment AMAZING! I'm going to be a regular here for sure. The owner greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked if I had any questions about the menu. I already knew what I wanted to order so I went for it. I sat and talked to the owner while waiting for my food and he told me how he started his business and about his passion for cooking. Customer service was great! I have told everyone I know about this place. The food was a hit! Everything I ordered was good!“

“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. All in all a great experience.“

“The O'Cado Burger was a 10/10. The vegan crabcakes had good presentation but it’s missing some flavor. The peach ice tea was unsweetened and would’ve been better with sweetness. The staff & hospitality is top notch.Clean, nice vibe and good music.“A” rating for food inspection.“

“We had Sunday brunch here, there was no wait time and we were seated immediately. The service was fast, and the brunch was good, The chicken taco was marinated perfectly, the blue jam Benedict was also good, the potatoes on the side was lacking taste, maybe some salt would have added to the taste. The iced coffee seemed very sweet to me. The ginger shots were good.“

“My companion and I ordered the rack of lamb, which came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The lamb was delightfully seasoned and so tender! The mashed potatoes, though a small portion, were delicious, as were the fresh vegetables, broccoli and carrots. For dessert we ordered carrot cake. What a huge portion !! It tasted fresh and quite yummy! Our server was excellent, and kept coming around to see if we needed anything. The place itself is very historic, could use a fresh coat of paint, but the ambience was lovely.“

“My sister and I did some scouting for the perfect place to have an after party after my wedding wanted to give this place a try. We stopped for brunch and the food was great. We quickly decided this was a top choice. Benedict was the manager we spoke to and he was so personable and happy to help us work something out. Since it was far in advance, we were able to book the date of my wedding for 70 people. He toured us around the place with mimosas and was incredibly attentive and kind, genuinely excited to host a wedding after party. On our night, I entered the bar in my wedding gown and everyone in the building clapped and cheered (such a sweet moment from other guests)! Benedict was there and he checked on us the entire night and made sure we always had shots in hand to celebrate. We had a server who was also so on top of it, and I feel bad I can't remember her name. The whole night was incredibly fun and so well put together. I can't thank the team at On The Thirty enough for such a seamless and unforgettable night on such a special day!“

“A Marmalade Cafe in the Valley! I don't know if I have been living under a rock for years or what but much to my surprise I discovered a new location... well new to me at least! I had only ever known of the Marmalade Cafe by the Grove before stumbling upon this location recently. And since I am a huge breakfast buff, anywhere I can find a good breakfast at a reasonable price is a win in my book. Parking around Marmalade Cafe can be a bit tricky during busy times because there are so many other businesses around it. If you can't find a meter on a nearby street you can go a bit deeper into the neighborhoods and you shouldn't have a problem. Since we are in Southern California, it's always nice to sit outside and Marmalade Cafe has an abundance of outdoor dining. I couldn't believe how large the area was behind the restaurant. There are tons of tables so this could even be a good spot for a larger party or gathering. One thing I think can be improved is the space itself. It is not the most inviting space. There is so much room back there that it could be really cute but it is pretty basic and not the place you might want to spend a cute weekend brunch. It was pretty slow when we went last weekend as it was late for breakfast but early for lunch. Because of this, the service was very attentive, which I appreciated. I got my go to corned beef hash and it comes topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. They pair that with breakfast potatoes and a side of your choice of toast. The only negative I had with my breakfast was that the potatoes had clearly been sitting out for a while as they were a bit hard yet chewy. It wasn't the end of the world though and they still complimented the meal. Fresh potatoes would have been appreciated though. My husband got the chicken caesar salad and loved it but he did have to ask for additional dressing as it was light. Overall I was happy with Marmalade Cafe and will definitely be returning when I'm in the area or when I have a craving for some corned beef hash again!“
