“I’m always doubtful when I see a 5 star review, but this neighborhood gem certainly deserves it. The staff is friendly, everything is clean, but the food!!! We ordered the family plate (to eat there) which was to feed 4, and we could only eat about half - it could feed 4 growing teenagers. Everything they brought out was delicious. There was a plate of pickled vegetables, a bowl of fantastic hummus with pita, a large plate of garlic fries, a plate full of grilled vegetables, and a large platter full of grilled meats. Everything was flavored to perfection. The beef kabob was cut-with-a-fork tender. I would definitely come back. The only problem is that it is too close to home and I’d be temped to go too often!”

“2024 Update: The beers and fries were still good, but the burgers were not as good as I remembered. Only service dogs are allowed inside now, but the large patio outside is partially heated. Parking was easy and the location is close to the highway though, so that's also a plus.

Flavors were nice, but the beef leaned a little salty. Now, about those metal chairs… rock hard. Felt like I was sitting on a slab of concrete. A little padding wouldn’t hurt. Food was good, though, so I’d come back...just maybe seat on the booth next time.”

I had the teriyaki salmon bowl (crispy delicious salmon, fluffy soft rice) and my bro had chicken katsu plate crispy delicious chicken, fluffy soft rice). Both dishes came with generous portions of fresh veggies. You can eat in on clean tables, or sit in the courtyard under umbrellas. Will definitely come again. If you're looking for high end/fine dining it's probably not your thing. But the food was fresh and tasty and the service was friendly and kind. ?”

“Valley Inn and Martini Bar - New Year's Eve Celebration I had the pleasure of celebrating New Year's Eve at Valley Inn and Martini Bar, and it was a delightful experience overall. The food was outstanding, with each dish crafted to perfection. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. While I gave the value a good rating instead of excellent due to the limited menu selections and higher prices for the holiday, the quality of the food and service made it worthwhile. The noise level was moderate, which is understandable given the festive occasion. One area that could use improvement is the parking situation. The tent still erected in the street since COVID blocks numerous parking spaces, making it difficult for patrons with mobility issues. I addressed this to the staff and was puzzled to learn they actually want to make this permanent! No one uses this outdoor area, and it's filled with a disarray of items making it look unsightly for such a historical restaurant. Despite this, I highly recommend Valley Inn and Martini Bar for a special night out. The food, service, and ambiance are top-notch, and it's a great place to celebrate any occasion.”

“I stopped by this Taco Bell location today because I order food at a place next door. I parked at the little garage parking they have toward the back. I wanted to take advantage of the happy hour freeze so that's why I came here. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all. It is encouraged to order from the kiosk so that's what I tried to do but it was so slow and non responsive. I asked a worker who came to give food to someone else and he seem annoyed I asked. He saw how slow it was but after a while he just walked away when he got me to the menu screen.

I ordered the Baja blast with strawberry freeze and when I went to pay using credit card, it kept throwing an error message. So the lady who was checking in for work on the counter asked the same guy who tried to help me before to ring me up. He rang he up and then made my drink but the one he made was a strawberry freeze and not a Baja blast strawberry freeze. I didn't want to be that customer so I just took my drink and walked out. The strawberry freeze is still good but I just wanted to try the Baja blast strawberry freeze.”

“There are so many sushi places in Studio City. This is just inside Sherman Oaks by one block, on Riverside, so it's a real neighborhood place. The food is great. Truly homemade. “There should be a line around the block to get into this place. The braised pork belly fried rice is amazing. We ordered veggie rolls, shrimp rolls, and braised pork belly fried rice. All delicious. Very reasonable prices. There is a little something extra spice wise in the fried rice. I can't quite identify the spice, but it makes all the difference. It's possibly the best pork belly I've had from a restaurant”

It reminded me of my own mothers cooking maybe even a little bit better...but don't tell her I said that. My gf got the penne arrabiata with chicken and the portion was very large that she had another meal after packing her leftovers. Our server Yadira was very attentive was gave amazing service.

It would have been helpful for that either to not be available via the online app or to get a notice when the app confirms the reservation the day prior vs when you arrive.
