“WOW, what a cool place to discover for a lunch or early dinner. Pasties, international meals inside an incredible pastry puff - we tried the Irish, the Russian, the Italian, and the American. All were outstanding, tasty, filling, and delicious - worth a stop if you like fun new eats!“
“A small but mighty bakery! Tucked down a little shopping walkway on Main St, this bakery is a gem in Placerville! Everything is gluten free, but you'd never know it!All of the pastries I tried for my first visit were delicious. I tried the Entremet, Banana Walnut Maple Scone, Eclair, and a Meringue Lemon tart. They were all flavorful and moist. The staff was helpful and pleasant which is always a bonus! There aren't many good (any?) bakeries in Placerville so definitely consider them when looking for pastries!“

“If you are seeking excellent catering for your event of any size, look no further. Teal at Sierra Rizing was a joy to work with. She made the process beyond easy and relieved me of so much stress. She provided catering to serve a group of 65 people and knocked it out of the park. The food was incredible, we received many compliments. Teal was on time, organized, and delivered in every aspect. I look forward to working with her again in the future.“
“I walked into Gracie’s hoping for a small last minute cake for my best friends court house ceremony and the ladies were so helpful and easy to communicate with. I ordered a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. You can’t tell from the photo, but they added sparkles to the icing which made it look simple and elegant. Cake was perfect and tasted delicious!“

“We try to come here when we are in the area and it's always good. But once a year on this day, we are celebrating my late father and we always come in for treats. Not only is frank and his staff so kind, they seem to always have something delicious to eat in honor of my sweets loving dad. It's such a hard day and our frank vilts visit makes it a little easier.“

“I love this place! I’ve been a few times and everything I’ve tried is delicious. I wouldn’t even guess that it’s gluten free. The employees are also very kind. Highly recommend! The only thing I would love to see more of - more fun non-alcoholic options. Creative mocktails, cocktails with non-alc spirits, and/or non-alc wine would be great additions to the vibe!“

“We stumbled upon this cute shop as we were walking down Main Street Placerville. We wanted something to quench the thirst without sugar! This was the place! I had their Lavender Green Tea iced no sweetener and a mini egg burrito. It's very small so perfect for a snack. Only bummer was there was hardly any egg, mostly potatoes and sausage. Nice mild salsa gave it the flavor it needed. I would recommend but maybe ask for extra egg? Service was quick and friendly! I would definitely come back!“

“What a lovely accident. I was passing through and stopped to grab a bite to eat. On a Tuesday, I was able to walk in and be seated right away. Was met by great staff who was very kind and welcoming. The ambiance was set as a charming farmhouse. And the star of the experience was the food. It was fresh and well seasoned. I munched on the Cajun chicken sandwich, with a couple of modifications. (Don't hate me, but I'm a wuss when it comes to spice) highly recommend! I also had the clam chowder and focaccia! Yum yum yum!!! If you're in the area come here for good eats and good people!“
“Friendly, affordable and great ambiance. Easily the liveliest place around on a weekend night, and the pizza we had was tasty and well above our expectations as travelers. Nicely sprawling outdoor scene with live music (when we were there) behind the little building where they take your orders. Shout out to the hard working staff who got us our pies- with smiles - in next to no time despite beginning to run out of pizza!“
“Love this place! We buy here and either sit on the couches outside or in the rose garden.Their frozen yoghurts taste more like icecream & aren't sour. To each their own.Kids who work here are very pleasant to talk to and well behaved. My lil one loves the spoons they have that change color when dipped in icecream :-)“

“Thank you to the staff for accommodating our dog on the deck. The sausage gravy was a little under-seasoned in my opinion and we prefer our bacon more crispy, but the sourdough was excellent and the pancakes and syrup were definitely a highlight. Great portion sizes.“

“Aside from a kale dish I don't see any more, they produce great tasting food no matter what you order (the kale dish was over salted and noticed this more at EDH location, Broadway location was good). If you like Sangria, theirs is a MUST HAVE!!! It is beyond great. Broadway and EDH are my fav locations and have very nice patio areas.“

“This was a fun place to have dinner and drinks. It is festive and we felt like Hobbits in a tavern. The food and drinks was delicious. We had the cheese fondue - it is pricey but was good and worth trying once. The entrees were all delicious especially the corned beef pie. We did the Mead sampler and it was yummy as well. We will definetely go again.“
