“Very friendly customer service, and not to mention dog friendly, which we love. The beer is excellent and the brew master was very polite with us. I wish I had a chance to buy stickers of the brewery as I am a collector, but it just means I will have to come back to this brewery And say hello again. Highly recommend this place.“
“We loved this chic and friendly brewery. We were killing some time before dinner and decided to chill out here after a long day of skiing. We got there before happy hour really started. Folks were starting to trickle in so we grabbed some seats and tried their local brews. We started out with him getting the Hazy IPA and I got the Lakeview Blond. I loved it and he loved his. Next thing we know, we called the restaurant and canceled our reservation because the food here smelled so good. We caved. I had the tomato basil soup and an order of pretzels and he had the Reuben. We were SO pleased. The beer pretzel and soup combo was often. I didn't like the cheese dip - sort of tasted like chicken and not enough cheese and the mustard was seed mustard. Wish they had a nice German mustard but starving skiers are not really all that picky. My stomach said "Shut up" to my brain and my hands were on automatic tearing up those beautiful pretzels and dipping them into my soup. I'm drooling now just thinking about it. Last but not least, our server was like family. So friendly, welcoming, polite, thorough, responsive and easy on the eyes (Argentinian). By the time I left, I was ready to adopt him! So sweet to us. Thanks for a great meal after a fantastic day of spring skiing.“
“Great beer which is the most important thing when the place is called "brewing company." I had Lakeside Caprese sandwich and my husband had a smash burger. The burger was good but my Caprese sandwich was incredible. The homemade foccacia bread reminded me of foccacia bread we had in Italy!!!! Fresh basil and tasty mazz cheese were excellent. Great job, guys!!! Better to ride the gondola and have lunch here than at any lodge at Heavenly. We will definitely go back and bring friends with us. We will convert them to fans.“
“Nice spot for lunch with a beer or cocktail. Great staff and the owner actively walks around the restaurant checking on her guests. She closed the blinds for us because she saw the sun shining in our eyes. The food was good, and the drinks were delicious. It's worth a visit in your in SLT.“
“My husband and I took a day trip to Lake Tahoe and we happened upon South Lake Brewing Company. I like the chill and modern vibe of this place, with lots of natural light inside. They had a good selection of beer and 1 seltzer at the time. I’m giving this place 4 stars because I thought the service of the bartenders was a little lacking and I strongly disliked the seltzer I got but, it is a brewery and I felt their beers were pretty good. If you like beer, I would stop by and check this place out!“
“Was there on Monday, food and service were good. I can sympathize with reviewer who talked about the awkwardness of the 20% optional service charge, it is an added element that u really don’t want to deal with when ur out enjoying a lunch or dinner, yes the tipping system isn’t perfect, your always going to have people that do not tip accordingly whether service is outstanding or not. I tip 20% for “adequate “ service, if the bartender wishes to share 5% of that tip with cook that’s her business, I use that analogy because that’s the way the bartender explained the optional service charge to me. If the short order cook needs a portion of bartender/servers tip that’s on the owner. There was a vote by SLT board members that voted against minimum wage hike and some of the shedcat owners fellow small business owners came out against the hike. There reasoning was the majority of people in restaurant positions are transitional( part time students, seasonal workers), first time employed, etc. there arguments are sound knowing that if labor costs go up food/drink prices go up to pay for them which we the consumers ultimately pay for. One of the shedcat owners was recently quoted in a local news article as being very much in favor of the vacancy tax in SLT, I hope she/ he realizes a lot of the people that will be affected by this are potential customers that are not all rich people with big vacation home owners but just people who continue to work into there 60s to support there choice of a vacation ( way to take away there discretionary income) Owners of businesses are always looking to pass the buck to consumers( it’s the nature of the business) the mere suggestion of an optional tip is just another example. Rather than supporting legislation gouging hard working people out of there hard earned money maybe focus more on your business plan. If the article I read that shedcat ownership was quoted in is bogus/ untrue please let me know and I will retract a portion of my review. I live here but feel for people who have vacation homes here that have no say/vote in the process. I’d be willing to bet the people that live here part time spend as much on discretionary things like going to dinner/ more high end grocery items than us locals. Food for thought. Note that I gave a four star not a one star review.“
“Had a great experience at this place. Got a salad but wasn't a fan on the chicken on top (just my personal preference). They exchanged it for a pizza. Lesson learned, don't get salad at a pizza joint ?. They were understanding. Tht fireplace outside was great for kids. And large area for kids to play. They also have another cocktail bar next door that was amazing.“
“Maddie with an I-E was the most professional and courteous host I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. Rachel was also an A+ example of what you would hope to see in a hotel receptionist. I hope my sons are lucky enough to marry women as amazing as Maddie and Rachel. The hotel is amazing, and location couldn't be better. There are multiple hot tubs, a coffee bar, and brewery. You couldn't imagine a better place to say. I love this place.“
“I was in the Stateline Brewery on 3-9-2024 and I had an awesome experience. I sat over in the bar area and put in my food and drink orders as I went! Everything came out quick even though it was really busy on a Saturday at Stateline! The drink I ordered had purple gin and guava that was to die for, so refreshing and tasty. I had thr bacon jam burger which was super fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant space was super open and comfortable. Friendly staff!!“
“This place is awesome, nickey the bartender is great. Really dog friendly. Not like other places that say dog friendly but very limited. Nickey loves the dogs, gets the fireplace going and you feel like you’re at home. Well worth the stop. Oh yeah the beer is really good too?“
