“Horchata was bomb. Tacos are small usually its two tortillas and spill-over meat makes a second. Tortillas were somewhat undercooked. Other than being small gourmet playhouse looking portions it was good. It was more once in a lifetime kinda meal not beefy hearty get full go to work filling kinda meal. Its more like a Go alone buy a second round of the sampler kind of meal. Its pricey but worth it.Parking: Dont wear plaid or red or blue. There was a face tattoo guy leaving the parking lot.“

“Nice Mexican restaurant in the Los Feliz neighborhood in LA. The restaurant had great ambiance and attentive service. We had an assortment of vegan and vegetarian sides, including flautas (made vegan), beans, rice, and fingerling potatoes. The dessert options included vegan sorbets and vegetarian churros.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options with a clearly labeled menu. Many of the Vegetarian items can be made vegan.“

“I grew up in Arcadia so I was raised going to Taco Treat. This place must be doing something right, as it is probably the longest surviving business and most all of the area, or at least that I know of and I am 67 years old. Great burgers, love their corn dogs and fried burritos. Always good food“

“Food is amazing, fresh and looks incredible. It will get pricy to get full so be prepared to order more than you think. Service was also wonderful. Our only complaint was the epic volume level of the restaurant. Something with the acoustics but we were pretty much forced to shout at each other to be heard. Also outdoor dining didn’t look appealing being right on Hyperion with a ton of traffic in your face.“

“Amazing food and atmosphere“

“This is probably the highest-rated restaurant I've ever seen on Google Maps, and after having breakfast here it is easy to see why. The atmosphere is so casual and welcoming, the service is fantastic and warm, and the food is so, so good! You HAVE to eat here at least once, this is the kind of place you see in movies, the "spot" the protagonist knows. An absolute gem!Dietary restrictions: I am currently on the border of pre-diabetes, so I can't eat rice or tortillas. This restaurant does offer these things if you like (and I SO wanted them) but the majority of food available was packed with protein and fat, and there was a healthy salad to put on the side. Genuinely one of the best selections I could hope for.“

“This is my first time trying Korean-Latin cuisine, which is so delicious! The owner suggested ordering the kalbi cheese fries which I'm glad that I ordered it! I got the rock combination plate and double cheeseburger as well! They have a self serve salad bar near the front which is convenient! The staff here so very friendly and it was a little empty at that time we came in so they were able to help us out! I loved how they put the posters around the store!“

“If you want a Peruvian food experience, dine at Bodegon No 69 In Old Town Pasadena. We were able to dine indoors without a reservation (short wait). We were seated in their private dining area as tables indoors were full. For starters, we got the jalea mixta and empanadas (beef and chicken). If you like deep fried seafood, get the jalea mixta. Their empanadas was crispy, stuffed with fillings of choice. For ceviches, get the ceviche B69, which includes a variety of seafood. For entrees, I recommend the arroz con mariscos (seafood paella) and lomo saltado. Both are popular dishes and very flavorful. They give a generous amount of seafood. Drinks were okay, I wasn't impressed with the presentation or taste. Service was friendly. Just took long for food to come out in between meals. Overall, lively atmosphere and authentic Peruvian food!“

“Literally the best bakery I have been to! I ordered my birthday cake from here and it did not disappoint. Not only was the cake designed beautifully, but it was super fresh, delicious and jam-packed with strawberry jam. Customer service was excellent as well. The employees/owners were very friendly and nice.“

“A conglomerate of Guatemalan street food vendors located at the intersection of Bonnie Brae & 6th St. after 5pm. Parking will be the toughest thing to find but you may be able to test your luck at the Rite Aid/Food 4 Less plaza nearby. The food is pretty cheap but absolutely delicious! Pricing along all the vendors seem to be similar for the same type of foods and being able to speak Spanish is a big plusRecommend:- Garnachas (mini potato tamales)- Pollo y papa's fritas (fried chicken & fries)- Churrasco (grilled meats - notably the longaniza)Note: There is a lot of grilling & frying going on, so be prepared to have your clothes smelling like smoke after you leave.“

“The prices in the photos are not updated in the photos...but what I remember and what I paid 2 days ago:Tacos $1.75Burritos, cakes, quesadillas are worth $8.50Mules $3.00Sodas $1Small waters $1.50And that's all I remember, BUT the food is delicious....there are like 3 tables to eat in the place but it doesn't matter because many order takeout. They gave us a lot of sauces, onions, cucumbers, radishes and the waiting time was short, I think, no more than 15 minutes....but because we arrived at 6...later you can see that it gets more crowded. Oh, I forgot to mention that on Mondays the sign says they are 2 for 1 on tacos al pastor BUT they told me that the current promo is tacos al pastor on Mondays for $1...which is still super cool. In general they are 10 out of 10.“

“One of the best coffee shops in LA. Cafecito cubano con leche is one of the best I’ve tried so far. It’s strong as well as smooth at the same time. And tres leches muffin was just delicious. Highly recommend coffee aficionados to check out and try this “

“Good pozole. This is that homemade pozole that I had been wanting for a while. My friend brought me here. She said this place has been around for a very long time. I was surprised that I never noticed it. I wasn't a big fan of their tostadas. They seemed too stale. Apparently, they make them there but I can't say for sure. Either way... I still prefer tostadas from a bag. Place also looks a lil run down but that's not a big deal (to me). They could probably clean it up a little better but overall, I was satisfied with their food This place is at the very corner of a little plaza next to a laundry mat, liquor store and smoke shop.“

“I just finished a review of San Laurel and wanted to do A shout out to this gem of a Bar. I will only be reviewing the bar at this point because I have not eaten here yet, as I said I just reviewed San Laurel because that's where we had just come from haven eaten most of their menu, we had fully intended on leaving. We stood at the elevator glancing to our left we noticed the bar at Agua Viva and decided we should take a look at it. Before we got there we were intercepted by a manager who couldn't have been more wonderful and helpful showing us around and telling us about the spot then offering perhaps a seat at the bar for which we gladly accepted. The bartenders again were perfect and accommodating. The drinks were all wonderful trying more then we should have but it was our anniversary and we did Uber there so believe me we paid for it the next day but we ended meeting most of the staff and talked to everyone, each person nicer then the next. Its a pleasure to have gone to both of these places on our special night, both places treated us like kings and I thank everybody we met and listened to us ramble on for hours. Thank you for making our day perfect I can't recommend San Laurel and Agua Viva enough!“
“Authentic Mexican food. Best Magaritas along with good music and service“
“This review is for Nawal, the Syrian food that is served inside La Fe. I swear I saw an IG reel of them serving food out of a window, but that may have changed/too much time passed since the video recording and time of visit. The seating is very comfortable, almost too comfortable. There was this couple lounging in the corner and watching their dog roam around inside. The menu was confusing because it's just a QR code. There are no photos to see what kind of food it was. We had to ask the Nawal server soo many questions. Ngl the La Fe server was annoyed that we wanted mostly the food. She kept coming back to see if we would order drinks. We ended up ordering a couple cocktails just to make her happy. We decided all the food was good. Cocktails were ok. I'd be back for the vibes.“

“I love this little place. I come regularly for the revuelta pupusas. Not greasy. Other joints give me a bad belly. Not this one. The asada torta also hits the spot. The ladies who run it cook food that I imagine they would make for their own families!“

“Who knew this unassuming little spot had brisket and didn't tell me?? For years I sort of ignored it as one of many taco stands in the area. I finally tried it the other day and was astounded at the menu. I thought Homestate was the only game in town for brisket tacos! Now we've got another excellent option. The brisket quesadilla is the banger--it's set up like two soft tacos lined with cheese and filled with brisket. The salads are great, as is the salsa selection. I'm not a huge salsa user...but the mango habanero salsa is amazing. Sure it's a bit pricier than other places, but the food quality is through the roof. The portions are also really good. This place is now in my regular rotation.“

“Probably the best tamales that I have eaten in the last decade, filled really well with meat and the flavouring was also spot on and they were not dry like most of the other places. Definitely coming back here as long as the quality stays the same!“
“I've had the carne asada quesadilla and asada tacos which are amazing. This food truck provides your food with plenty of sauces and sides to compliment their flavorful meals. I frequent them often as they are conveniently located close to my home. I haven't tried their tortas or burritos but will be trying them soon :p“

“First time visiting this Guatemalan restaurant and bakery. Most of the food is prepared and waiting at their deli. A lot of variety and place is well staffed. There is also a bakery with fresh bread including full loaves. It also has shelves with popular Guatemalan grocery products. Lastly it has indoor seating for those wanting to eat there. This place has it all.“

“Fantastic customer service here. They are usually very attentive, pleasant, respectful, and expedient. I was able to request the freshly made corn tortillas with cilantro, which I recommend with the queso fundido and chorizo. Their tacos de Birria are legit!! I recommend you try those, above all else. My husband asked for a replacement for the fish and they were able to accommodate. The servers were quite helpful with my mom as she uses a walker. They are also bilingual, which is a plus.Pro tip: they have platanos fritos con crema and frijol (fried plantains with cream and beans). You just need to ask. I'm sorry I didn't take a pic. I will next time.“
