“Definitely one of the better locations to grab a quick sandwich or meal on campus. This location is a bit hard to find and not well advertised. If you enter the quad main entrance, follow the diagonal path to the left and pass under the two arches the path leads to, then Olives will be on your left. Plenty of outdoor seating here and usually not too long of a wait. The sandwiches are worth it, salmon is not. Most come with a salad too!“

“Everything the we ate was delicious. The orders came out promptly and the service was top notch. There was never a moment that we didn't know what was happening with our meal prep. This experience made my birthday celebration extra special.“

“Great food and service! We went with some friends and the owners gave us samples of their delicious dips with pita bread. The spitfire chicken salad bowl was delicious. We had kalamari steaks and falafel too. Very delicious. We will definitely be back. Reasonably priced good food.“

“How have I not tried this place yet??? Went there for lunch with a friend on Monday. I love Greek food and always up to try a new spot. Pylos was wonderful! For lunch I had the seafood souvlaki which was delicious. Nice big shrimp and pieces of salmon in a warm, fresh pita with just the right amount of tzatziki sauce. Comes with a salad and they were kind enough to out the dressing on the side. My friend had one of the gyro wraps and she loved it. They also have Greek French fries which I have heard are amazing. Unfortunately, my current eating plan does not include them but there is always a next time! Service was very friendly and prompt. They have a nice inside restaurant and a great outside setup with heat lamps. Yay! Hubby loves Greek too so we will definitely be back (I'm going to steal his fries ).“

“Dropped in on a whim, wasn’t sure what to order. The owner offered some free samples. The lamb is amazing! Some of the best I’ve ever had. He made me a lamb gyro that was 10/10. My son and I were very impressed with the service and food. We Will be dropping by again. Thank you!“

“One of our favorite local restaurants in Palo Alto. The food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Favorite dish is the grilled white fish salad -- perfectly seasoned and grilled. Light and delicious. We love the frozen yogurt, not too sweet -- the best froyo around! And their fries are thin, perfectly salted and like a cleaner version of McDonald fries. Decor is Mediterranean modern and chic. Lots of outdoor seating and super friendly service. Love this place !“

“You can't get better than this. The place is super clean. Easy parking. Friendly lady at the counter. And the Gyro I ordered was the best I've ever had. AMAZING! I ordered the Super Gyro. Omg. So delicious!!! Added... Greek fries are wonderful! But my gyro on a Monday evening was dry... the meat also tasted left over/ not fresh... and crazy salty. “This place looks like an old fashioned diner. The food was great and service was quick. I loved the fries. They’re the thick cut fries (but not steak fries) and they’re crispy, not soggy. “Thanks to yelpers and their honest reviews...I was looking for take away for the hubs at home. We discovered Cobani Gyrl & Kebab! A cute shop in an older part of San Mateo. Staff was friendly and took my order. I ordered mixed grill plate, dulma, and baklava - a little over 45 bucks w/ tip. Brought it home and husband enjoyed. Stated the dolma freshly made and grilled plate nicely seasoned and well cooked, not tough. We may check them out another time and dine in if we're ever back in the neighborhood. efcharistó!“

“Came into Nick the Greek before a movie at the RWC Cinemark. I frequently get takeout from here and they nail it every single time. The food is even better in person; it comes out within minutes, and its piping hot. This gyro bowl was no different, coming with a healthy portion of beef/lamb on a bed of rice, accompanied with tomatoes, lettuce, and tatziki. The flavors worked together so well, with the sauce providing a rich creamy flavor that goes well with the slight saltiness of the beef/lamb. The lettuce provided a solid crunch, the rice was fluffy, and the tomatoes were crisp yet soft.
