“My entire life, is how long I have eaten bread, pasta, pastries, cheese, meat, olives, fish, olive oil, and polenta, from this place. It’s the best bakery that has ever existed in this country. Yes. I am biased. My great grandparents knew the old man…Angelo. If you lived in the city you walked to get your bread. If you lived out in the country, (like my great grandfather), you rode a horse and tied it to the posts along the sidewalk, that still stand today. Funny how you never “not” know certain things. Most Italian Americans in this valley know what I mean. I go once a week for groceries when my auntie and uncle need biscotti or bread, or cheese, or meat. Three times a year my uncle loads up on salami that is so good it makes angels hungry! The panettone is a staple for my family during the holidays, and I have never lived in a home without the familiar Genova Bakery Calendar hanging in my kitchen, and one in my garage. Always. It’s just how it is. I lived in San Diego for about 10 years and I brought bread there with me whenever I came home. My cousin brings crusty bread, and focaccia back to Oklahoma when she comes home. I eat a fresh sandwich from there once a week. The service has always been great. There’s no other place like it in the world. If bread is life, I’m living pretty good! And yes I wear these awesome t-shirts all the time.”

“I can't say good enough things about this place aside from being filipino owned. i love the ambiance of this rustic yet true coffee shop vibe that it brings. Most of their food on the menu is amazing, well, balanced, and just enough portions to hold you over. What really sets this establishment apart is the owner and stuff always so kind , always so accommodating. The silvanas dessert is a must-have (Ube, pistachio). It is so satisfying as well as delightful! Trust me, your pallette will thank you for it later!. It's super close to UOP, so expect it to have that college bound vibe school will be in session SOON, so heavier than usual traffic should be inevitable. You've been schooled

However, my sons and I ordered a raw sushi and a deep fried sushi, and we all loved our sushi. Service for takeout was awesome! They even asked what car we were in and bought it out to the car! The atmosphere seems cool inside, but we didn't have time to eat there.”

We were warmly welcomed by the gentleman working on August 17th, who shared insights about the origin of his coffee beans, recommended drinks, and mentioned their morning food offerings for future visits. I was impressed with the entire experience. My iced horchata latte, made with almond milk and not overly sweet, was delicious. My husband enjoyed a fantastic mermaid refresher, and my 6-year-old son's hot chocolate was perfectly prepared—not too hot and just right. I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations and the evident pride he took in crafting our drinks. We'll definitely be back”

“I was headed for Krispy Kreme donuts or one of their yummy glazed donuts but didn't want to drive that far. Just happened to see this little hole in the wall and decided to try it out. Donut tasted fluffy and fresh and as good as Krispy Kreme but they were fluffier. The girl behind the counter was very sweet and welcoming. It's sad that it's so tucked away in the back.

But came for dinner and that was tops. Had and polished of Chicken 65. Wife's chicken Tikka gave me two additional lunch servings. No complaints. Will be back in Stockton and would like to go back here.”

“Wow! I travel all over the place doing what I do for work so sometimes I can’t have my “regular” spots. There isn’t much in this part of Stockton to choose from so I gave Burger IM a shot. Never had it before. First off, I was shocked there wasn’t anyone in there around 2pm. Extremely clean place with deals on menu items all over. Some exceptionally large TV’s and plenty of comfy seating and even a booth with an open end for the little ones to enjoy too! I don’t like a big lunch so when I showed up at the counter I met a very well put together (I believe owner?) who took my order and when I said “cowboy burger with no onion ring” he replied “that’s like a horse without a hoof!” I then bantered back “it’s more like a horse without a shoe, still good!” After that, I received my burger promptly but not too quick which made me feel it was actually made to order and boy was it. I only ordered the burger ala cart and after my first bite, I am a huge fan. Everything felt so fresh and the bbq sauce was not overly applied. They had a quick join option to start earning points (which I loved) and after I finished my burger in record time, I wanted another lol. HIGHLY recommend this place forsure. I will absolutely be coming back to try even more items but my standard is always a “western burger no onion” and this immediately jumped to my top 3. 9/10 establishment without a doubt. Even had a party area with pool tables and a ping pong table too! Don’t let this place stay empty, go give it a shot! Reasonably priced and way better than a carls meal for the money. “I found this place by accident after pulling off the freeway to talk to a friend as I was traveling through Stockton. Absolutely amazing. The first thing I noticed walking in was the inviting and fun atmosphere. I was served by Yessii who was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. And when the food arrived, it was way more than I expected and absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a fun, wonderful place to go. I can’t speak to the mimosas because I prefer Bloody Mary’s. But the Bloody Mary’s I received were top-notch. Yessii stated they were the first ones she made, but I think she was pulling my leg. They were just the way I requested.”

“I absolutely love dutch bros and have been a faithful customer for 3 years now , I love the coffee and the quality of service but what I don't like is seeing all these young people dying in the sun in 100 degree weather, even with the ice packs they wear and the rotation it's still cruel to me to see this every summer , this is a multi million dollar company so why can you not set up tents with water misters so they can atleast be in the shade ! I know as a customer seeing a company care about it's associates means alot and I feel like Dutch Bros can do so much better !”

“We recently visited this Denny's and tried the salmon with sides, Santa Fe skillet, beef steak skillet, and the Philly cheesesteak omelette with pancakes. Most of the dishes were good, but the salmon didn’t quite hit the mark. The pancakes, while tasty, weren’t as fluffy and soft as what you’d get at IHOP. If I had to choose, I’d still put IHOP a step ahead of Denny’s for breakfast. That said, the service here was great, and the staff was attentive and friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable.

We were very unpleased to see what I assumed to be a inspector of some sort cross contaminating the food while wearing gloves she held a tablet in her hands and was picking threw all the food as she was holding the tablet and touching the screen at the same time. She was also seen picking up other items around her adjusting her bangs and touching the food without changing her gloves or washing her hands before continuing to touch the food the whole lobby was thinking how disgusting as she was very unprofessional and judgemental to the staff who are great at changing gloves and taking food safety precautions when she came in with very high expectations considering it was their busiest time of the day and we thought she was rude when she herself was the only one we saw not following precautions !!! Other than that we love Travis's subway and think this issue should be addressed if we hadn't already got our lunch we would have turned around and walked out !!!”

Besides a few places in Oakland and SF, I rarely come across soul food and it’s usually just not as good as what I grew up with. Chase’s fried fish is incredible, and I say that with all my heart! Fresh as could be, with that perfect crunchy batter, without any fishy taste and not over cooked or burnt in any way. Me and my band enjoyed every piece without a single bone to be found. We were at Pear Fair in Courtland playing music at the festival and his food truck was right next to the stage. We kept wondering what was smelling so darn good. “Hana Sushi is definitely a hidden gem! The owner, Melissa, is so kind, humble, welcoming, and incredibly talented. The first time I walked into the restaurant I was taken aback by the beautifully decorated space. I later learned that this is a family owned business and Melissa’s husband designed the space himself! Their daughter is attentive and accommodating, and she really makes sure that customers have an extraordinary experience.

I ordered too much food and finished it all! I even was tempted to order more! Each time a new dish came out of the kitchen for another customer, I wanted to try it! EVERY SINGLE THING LOOKED DELICIOUS!

“My entire life, is how long I have eaten bread, pasta, pastries, cheese, meat, olives, fish, olive oil, and polenta, from this place. It’s the best bakery that has ever existed in this country. Yes. I am biased. My great grandparents knew the old man…Angelo. If you lived in the city you walked to get your bread. If you lived out in the country, (like my great grandfather), you rode a horse and tied it to the posts along the sidewalk, that still stand today. Funny how you never “not” know certain things. Most Italian Americans in this valley know what I mean. I go once a week for groceries when my auntie and uncle need biscotti or bread, or cheese, or meat. Three times a year my uncle loads up on salami that is so good it makes angels hungry! The panettone is a staple for my family during the holidays, and I have never lived in a home without the familiar Genova Bakery Calendar hanging in my kitchen, and one in my garage. Always. It’s just how it is. I lived in San Diego for about 10 years and I brought bread there with me whenever I came home. My cousin brings crusty bread, and focaccia back to Oklahoma when she comes home. I eat a fresh sandwich from there once a week. The service has always been great. There’s no other place like it in the world. If bread is life, I’m living pretty good! And yes I wear these awesome t-shirts all the time.”

“Excellent food. Good spice level and tasty Lassi. We're told they just opened so the interior was quite stark and sparse. Simple decor, folding tables and chairs and paper napkins. But came for dinner and that was tops. Had and polished of Chicken 65. Wife's chicken Tikka gave me two additional lunch servings. No complaints. Will be back in Stockton and would like to go back here.”

However, my sons and I ordered a raw sushi and a deep fried sushi, and we all loved our sushi. Service for takeout was awesome! They even asked what car we were in and bought it out to the car! The atmosphere seems cool inside, but we didn't have time to eat there.”
