“It was the first time I ever been there, I passed by a lot of times but never stopped by. The food is American and Chinese Cuisine. My friend got breakfast ham and eggs and biscuits and gravy. I got the Chicken Chow Mein and pork fried Rice and I was pleasantly surprised because the Chinese food was very good and the breakfast looked delicious too. The ambience reminds me of the restaurant my father and mom used to take us when I was a child so it brought back some good memories. If you get a chance you can get a full meal for 8.99 , you can't get a better deal than that.“

“For the price it’s good but you pay for what you get, I lowkey had a jaw workout since it’s buffet style the food kinda gets a bit stale in a way, I got take out but I ate inside for a bit which they were kind enough to let me, but the walnut shrimp wasn’t saucy enough the flavor was there but it’s still great for the price, because they give big portions. Other than that for the price you can’t beat it.“

“5 stars for the price. I wanted soup, she wanted sushi, and we live eastside so we didn’t want to enter town to a place with $17 dishes and tip. so this is a nice local gem. it is worth noting though: the sushi rice is not seasoned with vinegar/mirin/sugar/salt like expected— just white rice. it’s understandably labor intensive though. still tasted good.“

“20+ years ago I departed the Bay Area to join the army and travel the world. I also departed with a set standard for how chinese food should taste! Imagine the tragedy of constant lack luster chinese food no matter the city, state or country! For over 20 years I was constantly disappointed in the so called chinese food wherever I traveled. It was truly an amazing surprise to finally come home and the very first chinese restaurant I try is a perfect example of my childhood memories filled with pork fried rice, Kung poa chicken and pot stickers! I can really feel as if I've returned home. I only wish I had a bigger stomach to try all my old favorites like foil wrapped chicken, hot and sour soup and many many more! A big thanks to this chinese hot spot that I will be claiming as my go to for excellent chinese cuisine!“

“This Chinese restaurant had the best garlic fried chicken I ever had since this other Chinese restaurant in Tracy closed down because the owners were retiring. I got a combination plate A3 it comes with one piece of garlic fried chicken, sweet sour pork, pork fried rice and pork Chow Mein All for $7 but plus taxes it comes up to around $8 and some change. The lady is very nice and it looks like her husband that is the cook and he cooks the food when ordered!!! It'S a drive but when I want that delicious garlic fried chicken I'll make the drive!!!“

“Visited at opening 11:00a.m. on a weekday, and we were the first ones in. I was surprised to see that the business name was changed to M Kitchen Buffet. I tried to ask the worker about the name change, but I wasn't able toneffectively communicate with them. The cost for dine-in buffet is $9.95 per person. They have about 7 booth tables that can fit up to 4 people. The place is casual, and seems to cater a lot of people who work in the area, and are looking for good Chinese food at a wallet-friendly price. 1-item starts at $6.95, and a 2-item is $7.95. From what I recall, rice or noodles are considered 1 item, so be aware a protein and rice or noodles is a 2-item selection. The food was fresh and hot at opening. I prefer the fried chicken, orange chicken, mixed vegetables, chow mein, and fried rice.If you're in the area, give it a shot. I was expecting Sherman's Buffet, but it wasn't. My guess is that someone who worked at Sherman's Buffet wanted to own a store, bought it, and changed the name. It tastes pretty muvh the same, and the menu & concept is the same. I prefer the Sherman's off of Pershing, but this restaurant is a good place to dine in or get takeout. Ty ?“

“I've been going to Sherman's for ten years now and the food is really good and always fresh and hot. Won ton soup is delicious. One serving will fill you up. When I get it to go I always have enough left over for lunch at work the next day. And their spicy chicken is great,“

“Cash only! I was served by a young man in a gray shirt, and he had a good sense of humor and was nice to us. The bald guy with darker skin who brought out our food was great, too! Definitely coming back. I highly recommend their combo chow fun and chow mein.“

“It's a buffet so service is as expected. The food is good enough. Not exceptional. And the place is clean but older. No frills or attempt at ambiance. But it's the food not the decor you're there for. Order to go and the portions are generous. The soda fountain is notable. The right carbonation and syrup concentration to make an excellent drink. Not to heavy and not watered down.“

“Is it good Chinese food? No, not really, it's just okay. But! For less than the price of an order of egg rolls anywhere else you can get as much okay Chinese food as you could ever want to eat, and that's worth a five star review on its own“

“I found this place about 1 year ago. I get the same 4 dishes everytime. The garlic fried chicken is so good. The only thing better is the salt and pepper wings. Definitely my go to dishes. You can have meat without fried rice and chow mein. The rice and noodles are decent but the chicken is absolutely amazing“

“Awesome little place on the Miracle Mile, fast friendly service with delicious food. I had the wieners and rice with brown onion gravy, my wife had the corned beef hash. First time I’ve been here, my wife has been going since she was a kid.“

“Orange chicken had delicious sauce, crispy batter, tender chicken -- very good, good good!
Yangchao fried rice was likewise delicious, not overly seasoned; tender shrimp.
Wonton soup had delicate flavor
Sweet and sour pork with tasty sauce and crispy batter, but some of the port chunks seemed a bit overly fried -- still delicious
Sweet and sour chicken had tender chicken, crispy batter and tender chicken chunks -- really tasty.
Combination chowmein was also very good -- tender shrimp, beef and pork, all seasoned just right
Service was excellent.
(We were given sweet and sour chicken instead of the orange chicken we ordered. The orange chicken still arrived anyway. Nice!)“
