I ordered 2 round ups, which is a pick up order for everything to serve 40 people. The staff did a great job putting it all together with care and loading it for me. The guests raved about the food.
Though it's been around for decades it just doesn't have a old town feel to the overall experience. The staff seems to be a bit grumpy on most occasions. The food doesn't have that smoky bbq flavor you'd expect. The sides are bland and lackluster. For example, I often get a tri tip sandwich and 1/2 rack of baby back ribs from the Elks BBQ on Saturdays. The food is so much better tasting at Elks. Bummer it's not open during the week.

By far, this is THEE BEST TRITIP SANDWICH! I drive 40 minutes to get this sandwich and it IS worth the drive! The meat is just right and very lean! The service is always friendly and quick! This is a must go to place while in Thousand Oaks!
