“The Greyhound is one of my favorite places in LA. The food, the people, the vibe. So good. From one foodie to another, here's my top items - Carolina Gold Wings, Carnitas Quesadilla or Nachos (both are amazing), Fries (duh), and the burger! I always get a last word or negroni at the bar and they never disappoint.Vegetarian options: The cauliflower wings, vegan burger, potato taquitos, salads, pesto bread sticks, pizza. There's so many vegetarian options and they are all delicious.Dietary restrictions: They are super friendly and helpful in accommodating dietary restrictions.Parking: There's a free parking lot right behind the restaurant and some free spots right in front as well.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome! “Rocco's deep fryer was out when I visited so I ordered pasta which was excellent. The bartender comma brenda went out of her way to make me comfortable as I watched the football game, which was on most of the monitors surrounding the establishment. They also had my favorite beer on tap which most sports bars do not.Vegetarian options: Pizza, Pasta, and salads.“
“I'm so happy we found this place. Love this style of Mexican restaurants. Staff was so friendly as soon as we arrived, and I loved the look and feel of this classic style that is well kept. “Love this place! Well curated stock of fresh beer featuring options often unavailable at the large retailers. You can mix and match single cans for takeout or consume onsite for a nominal corkage fee. As others have noted, there are also many beers on tap in the back, where you typically find an eclectic mix of customers watching sports inside or enjoying the sun on the patio. Fun place, excellent staff and dog friendly. Highly recommended!“
“Super friendly service here! The lady running the bar and register was chatty and fun and friendly. I tried their spicy vegan sausage and I liked that it was something they made in house. They have a few vegan hot dogs and you can choose your toppings. Tasted really good. Also got a yummy pretzel. I really recommend the chipotle aioli. Small parking lot available.“
“It was my first time there for karaoke with a first time date, both wanting to sing, and we didn't know what to expect, but to our surprise, we had a blast! The crowd was super fun and very engaged with every singer and song. The drinks were good and cheap, the staff nice and effective. I'll definitely go again!“

“I came here after an assistant director told me about it. After Mother's Day I decided it was time for mother's night. I hit up residuals lone wolfing it. I was quick to befriend a comedian who informed me that the White Russian drinks they make are good. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to most bars in LA. Tip if you have a residual check for under a dollar you get a free drink. Make some friends with old people. I met a variety of different interesting characters. WARNING: This is a bar where people can actually sing during karaoke.“

“Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“
“This is one of my family's favorite burger places. Got the Maui Burger, and it was jammed with avocado. Sweet potato fries are so good. I just wish they weren't so expensive to add. The daughter got the sliders, wife got the wings, and they were perfectly spicy. The guacamole and chips are a good appetizer, but the salsa taste extremely store bought from a can. The pineapple butter cake is such a good dessert. I recommend it. Tried the blond beer, and it was just ok. The oreo shake was also lacking.The parking structure, specifically the Island section now has 4 spots that are for pickup. So very limited in the section, but its a big parking structure so I'm sure you can find a spot. Oh and they validate.“
“Well, lets see...this bar has been remodeled from what I remember. It use to be really run down, but now its really nice inside. Its a small dive bar, but has a pool table, photo booth, and music jukebox. Its real chill here and very low key, its not overly crowded and the crowd that comes here is very chill. The prices are average and they have all regular beers or mixed drinks/ shots. I believe this place has darts too! The location is on Van Nuys near the Dominos, if you come here I'd recommend Uber, street parking is a pain.“
“I come here all the time and pretty much have no complaints. The servers are so friendly, lots of good food options (I routinely get the burger & sweet potato fries), sauces, and they make excellent drinks. It can be a little loud sometimes but they have a cute little patio seating situation that is great for people watching (and heaters of course)“

“I celebrated my Bell Jeff 20 year high school reunion. Jungla is a special place. You need to try the tacos gobernador. The space has excellent service and Latin music. The drinks are made with natural ingredients. Real lemon lemonade with the vodka lemonades. The staff is harmonious and it truly feels like family here. We had a great time. Will definitely be back.“
