“I'm a new vegan/vegetarian and finding good options for a former meat eater is a struggle. I wanted some crispy flavorful tofu, the young lady suggested the crispy eggplant and it was delicious I wanted to chop it up in my bowl of white rice and garlic broccoli. The veggie pot stickers were ok I've had better. It would also be great if EverSpring loaded their menu in Fitbit.“

“This place serves incredibly delicious Northern Chinese cuisine! The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and every dish has that comforting, home-style taste. The highlight, though, is definitely their signature sesame sweet pancake. It’s made fresh to order and comes out perfectly warm and crispy—so flaky it practically falls apart at the touch. The light sweetness paired with the rich sesame aroma makes it absolutely irresistible. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and I’m already planning to come back!“

“The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

“Laura was so super nice and helpful! I came in for my lunch, the service was fast, she and the cook both welcomed me when I walked in the door, and she was so sweet talking to me while we waited for my food to be done. 10/10 this place rocks!“

“Mama Lu Dumpling House is truly a standout spot for dumpling lovers. It can be a little easy to miss from the outside since it’s tucked into a strip mall (near CVS and Meet Fresh), but once you find it, it’s absolutely worth it.
The handmade dumplings are consistently fresh and packed with flavor. The juicy pork and chive dumplings are always a favorite, and the xiao long bao come out perfectly steamed with rich, savory broth inside. Every bite tastes authentic and comforting. The noodle dishes bring that warm, homestyle flavor that makes you feel like you’re enjoying a meal in Shanghai.
The space itself is spacious and great for larger groups. The ambiance is simple and no-frills, but that just adds to its charm — the focus is clearly on the food. Service is attentive and efficient, even when the restaurant gets busy, and the staff is great about making recommendations.“

“Service was fast, kind, efficient
I ordered mostly skewers, some were good and some were over seasoned in the sense i could not taste the meat
Other than that it was good food, highly recommend the chicken skin and corn“

“I come here for lunch all the time. Their prices are actually reallly hard to beat these days. I’ve had their Bun Rieu, Bun Rieu Oc, Bun Thit Nuong, Bun Bo Hue, Bun Cha Gio. Alll of it is good! Flavors are right. The fresh bean sprouts and veggies abundant. The Bun Rieu is the best here though. There is a 3 or 4% credit card fee so its good to have cash here!
Theres also a togo food section but I feel like it is not as good as the noodle soup dishes. I’ve gotten spring rolls catered here as well. Small family owned restaurant and super sweet staff. I love that its super quiet here on my lunch breaks.“

“Whenever I get a craving for Thai this is my go to spot. The food is authentic delicious and Just plain beautiful. The prices are reasonable the portions are large. The atmosphere can be busy, but comforting and relaxing, like a coffeehouse. The hustle and bustle of people coming in doesn’t distract from the atmosphere. In fact, it adds to it. I have always judged a Thai restaurant by their Tom kha kai. The first time I had it here I knew I was in for some good Thai. I’ve been making Tom kha gai at home for years now I know how it’s done and the subtleties of the ingredients. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Absolutely fantastic food! I arrived in the morning for lunch, and everything was made fresh to order. The flavors were delicious, and the quality really stood out. My only suggestion would be to offer slightly larger portions, but other than that, it’s both budget-friendly and worth every penny.
The staff are amazing I witnessed them kindly assisting a senior citizen with his order, which truly made me smile and reminded me that compassion still exists in the world. That alone speaks volumes about the heart of this place.
I definitely recommend this establishment!“
