We loved seeing a Oaxacan menu in a high end setting! The restaurant has a beautiful, modern design that makes a great atmosphere to host a party or to impress your date! We got the aguachile and the taste of Oaxaca shareable plate. The aguachile was just fine, I would wish that the shrimp was cut into more fine pieces, cured more in lime, and served with more tostadas on the side. food is great, when it comes out on time. the mole is superb. as with most other reviews, they need MORE STAFF, front of house, back of house, bussers, cooks, washers, they need more support. i've been to madre's three times. twice for brunch, and once for dinner, all times the waitstaff was very overworked and the food came out so slowly. i've sent back food, bc it was sitting and not even hot... i do want this place to succeed, but they really really need to hire more help.
