“I had forgotten about this place! Back when I worked in Vallejo and had to be at work before the sun, Sunshine Smoothies was my saving grace. Vallejo can be dark and stormy before 6 am and this location was one of the few places I could come for a true fruit smoothie or a authentic coffee drink without fake sweeteners or a ton of sugar. The family and I were headed to Mare Island for a drive when we started to pass the cute yellow and orange stand. I immediately turned into the driveway and got in the drive thru line because I hadn't been for a visit for 5 years and I wanted to see if the items still had the same quality. I ordered a caramel blended coffee drink and my husband ordered the Very Berry smoothie. We were told that there was a big order ahead of us, but we could move to cone #1 to wait for our order. We moved to the cone, turned the engine off and enjoyed the bay view. There was one person in front of us and 4 behind us, so they were crazy busy for such a small parking lot. When our order was ready less than 10 minutes later, we were greeted with medium drinks as a thank you for our patience. The owner didn't even have to do that! My drink was perfect. Not too sweet, and it actually tasted like caramel blended in a not too strong, brewed coffee! My husband's smoothie tasted like apples, strawberries, and blueberries and was the perfect refresher on a warm Sunday. I will be back. I am so glad that they are still open and I cannot wait for my next drink! Service is always friendly and you can tell that the people working the booth actually enjoy their job! “I hate to say it but we order from this café often via DoorDash. To be honest, when it comes to a dirty chai latte, this café has it on lock! I will also say that, since they've changed l ownership, the food has improved dramatically! Keep up the great work!I haven't been in the location lately to see what the ambience is like but when I was there a couple of months ago it was very casual yet, cozy. This staff was inviting, although the area itself has his ups and downs.“

“I love that they're open on Sundays and still do "baker's dozen", which is actually 13 donuts instead of 12 (free donut, yay!) Sadly, the fix was devoured before I got to take a picture, but I like this place and will come back for sure“

“Nestled on Tennessee Street like a little slice of pastry paradise, this place is my morning muse, my sugar-coated sanctuary! Everything is baked fresh, daily. Grab a dozen or two and don't forget the meat pies and sausage rolls! Service is great, this place has been here a while and the family is so sweet. It's pretty quiet, plenty of indoor seating. “Came in after eating KBBQ and i absolutely love the Christmas decorations inside the shop. I ordered the mango milk tea which was very tasty. My only complain was that I asked for no ice but was given a normal amount of ice in my drink. Other than that my drink was really good, I just wish I got to drink more of it“
“My wife and I love the meat combo and italian prosciutto pizza here. Definitely unique and delicious at a reasonable price. They have a nice patio area in a great part of 1st St Benicia. It is perfect for lunch or relaxing in the afternoon with a coffee or drink. It reminds me of the pizza style at Casa Barotti on College Avenue in Berkeley, but I like the pizza more here and there are more food choices. I definitely suggest Drift check out the different styles of pizza offered at Barotti, as they have a wider variety. The family that runs it is so warm and welcoming. We are very lucky to have a place like this here in town - I really hope people in town recognize what we have! They even have gluten free pizza on Fridays which is pretty special for Benicia.“

“This is the happiest, most genuinely friendly bunch of beautiful people I've encountered at a Starbucks. Hubby had jury duty so I spent the entire afternoon here working on my computer and loved every bit. The staff were laughing, joking, and getting along so well. The manager was in the mix the whole time too treating everyone kindly, respectfully, and clearly works to be professional friends with the employees. I overheard a solo training orientation too and was impressed by the ideals, service standards, and attitudes they promote. I ordered 2 drinks over the afternoon and both were perfect as was the customer service. I earlier had walked in and then straight out of the E Lincoln location cause the vibe and layout was "get in - get out" but once I stepped inside here I felt immediately safe and welcome plus they have individual tables with outlets at each.6 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“This is a nice little cafe right by the ferry dock. The staff here is friendly, and the food/drinks are good quality, the only downside is the Wifi doesn't always work which is cumbersome if you're here to do some work while you wait for the ferry or a nearby appointment. Loads of 3 hour parking in the nearby lot.I'd still come back for the food/drinks!“
