“I called on a Friday and did an order for a cake for about 15-20 people; that I needed for Sunday. My son is turning five. So I asked for a CINCO DE MAYO themed cake OR more like a Mexican fiesta cake.. I asked fortres leches cake with strawberries inside and let me tell you guys they did not let down!! Wow it was so moist and it's not too sweet but it's not to blande either. It's just the right sweetness! This is a hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley. I will be going for their cakes more often now because I actually enjoyed them and so did my family.“

“The food at Porto’s is great. Their savory basket food is very tasty. The seasoning on their meats is fantastic. I had the steak torta, the meat is tender, lean, and well seasoned. The bread is soft with a nice chewiness to it. The ingredients are all very fresh. I also had a guava smoothie, which is amazing, if you like guava. I will definitely be returning and trying other items on the menu.“

“This is now my favorite bakery after this visit. I initially found this bakery through togoodtoogo, and have stopped by 2-3 times since then. Today I used the same service and picked up a box, there was a problem my end so he remade a box with some extra goodies. I also ordered the box knowing I was about to buy something for a friends birthday, I was pretty lost on what my friend would like, so Joseph guided me through all the options explaining everything. He went above and beyond what was needed and it felt welcoming. As I was leaving I was talking about how I wanted to try the fruit tart on my next visit, he caught me as I was walking out the door and offered me a small sample, I've never had this experience at any bakery. This honestly made my day and for now on I'll always recommend it. Service aside, the food is also amazing and impresses me with every new thing I try. Thank you Joseph.“

“This is a family run business. Wendy bakes out of her home and has little Bake sales on her porch. The house is quirky, with funny weird decorations on the outside- nothing that you would imagine a bakery to be. And you don't go inside the house. Order a few days ahead and remind her on the day of because she gets booked with a lot of orders . Her son brings out your order. Her cherry pies are fresh out of the oven. A thin light crust with an incredibly tasty cherry filling.“

“This is actually one of the nicest BR I have been to, ever. It is very modern with dine in, carryout, AND drive-through options. It is clean and well lit as well as well stocked. I liked this place because they had a lot of other dessert treats besides just ice cream. Treats like their standard ice cream cakes and bananas, but also different ones like their mango fruit bars and mini personal ice cream cakes. The service was ok. There were four employees, and it seemed that if you don't let someone help you right away, you may have to wait a bit. I think just know what you want when you get there and it should work out fine. Also, I'm not sure about your local BR, but ours does not accept the deals offered through the app on our phones. I suppose they are an independently owned BR? “I spent $250 on my kid's 1st birthday cake and it was totally worth it. Of I ever get married, I'm going to have this place design my wedding cake. I wanted a chocolate sheet cake with fondant and got exactly what I wanted. The cake was HUGE and everyone complimented it. The pic below doesn't do it justice. Thank you for your business.“

“Great lil mom-and-pop bakery! Service is great and has a large shared parking lot. This is a no-frills kind of bakery. Generally, what they offer aren't fancy but are solid basic korean-style pastries. I especially like their white bean pastry. And my goodness, they do not skimp on their fillings! Just that alone will have me coming back. Haven't gotten their cakes but they look nice and are fairly priced. They also sell coffee and korean shaved ice, which I'll have to try one day! I'll keep coming back as long as they're open :)“
