“Conveniently parked outside my apartment building I thought I'd grab a quick dinner off the Suego truck. So glad I did. This pasta was worth the 15 minute wait. I tried the $20 pasta combo which comes with choice of any pasta and either salad or fries. I couldn't in good conscience order fries AND pasta but the fries looked delicious. They probably would've gone nicely with the panini's. I tried the vegetarian pasta and even though the menu promised red pepper, mushrooms and olives, mine only had olives. It was still phenomenal. The salad was big, fresh and tasty. The portions are big but I didn't feel gross and heavy afterwards. Can't wait to try the sandwiches and the chicken parm.“

“I needed a caterer to provide breakfast and lunch for 35 people for a 3 day workshop that was being held in our Northridge, CA office for quite a few of our executives and Sr. staff at HARMAN International. I am located in Stamford, CT and asked for recommendations from assistant's in Northridge who could not provide any local caterer's so my husband went on Yelp and found Mr. Ardi's and I'm so glad he did. In speaking with Jeff (owner) on the phone, he understood the requirements and needs of this audience. He came up with a menu that was very impressive for the 3 days and always answered the phone when I called. He came to the office the day before the event to get an idea of set up and was on time every morning and afternoon. His food and set us was amazing/pleasing and the executives were VERY happy with every meal! Flavor and love is put into every meal. Even his scrambled eggs are cooked to perfection!! His Mac & Cheese was soooo good as well as his mouth-watering brisket, just so much flavor. Lasagna and butternut squash ravioli is worth mentioning as well as his chicken and ribeye souvlaki was out of this world. His meals were so good that I had the assistant's in Northridge try his food including his delicious soups so that they would use him for future events. I wish he was here in the Stamford area because I would use him for all for our events!! Please do not hesitate to hire Jeff for your special occasion. l guarantee that you will not be disappointed!! “The Landmark is the ultimate banquet hall in LA. It is based on a large property in Mission Hills with huge open air parking lot and a big green garden. Entering into the building, you enter the beautiful hallway area with lounge sofas, a bar that you can use for tea/coffee or alcohol, and the beautiful grand piano by the long windows. On the right side, the big doors get you into the magnificent hall where the party is going to be. You are welcome to use the hall however l you desire to design it for youe special occasion. It’s your wife’s birthday and you just have to make it special. Even during this time when we’re all staying at home. “This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice.The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“
“Just wow. Working with Savory Roads for paella catering at my DTLA wedding was wonderful from start to finish. Chef Roger was lovely and communicative. You can easily tell that he cares deeply about the excellence and authenticity of his craft. Our venue Valentine DTLA has stringent requirements for all food vendors and Chef Roger diligently met them all. On the big day, our guests were simply dazzled by the ginormous vats of beautifully presented seafood paella. Guests just kept coming back again for third and fourth helpings. At the end of the night, Roger gave our coordinator a huge portion of leftover paella for us to take home and enjoy for DAYS after our wedding. “Nowadays it's rare to find a place that actually cares about the customers experience and satisfaction. This place is definitely apart from the norm. We ordered 3 shave ice and almost immediately my 3yr old spilled hers. They quickly made her a whole new order at no charge. Then halfway through her ice she had a meltdown because she now wanted "rainbow" colors on hers. They were happy to transform it into rainbow colors again at no charge.
