“Delish Korean BBQ. Friendly helpful staff, melt in mouth pork belly, good brisket and patty. Staff do the cooking, sos we just sat back and ate the beautiful food that they served. Great mix of pickles, pastes and chilli accompanied the meal. Loved this place!“
“Came here before watching a movie at cgv cinema and it was totally worth it. Got sat right away and was met with impeccable service. The meat was cooked for us and the side dishes were great. Only downside was the bartender wasn’t available so couldn’t order cocktails. Would recommend and definitely will come again!Parking: Several levels of parking and it’s free with validation.“
“It was great to eat with family!!I chose All U Can, and the meat quality was better than I expected. In particular, the brisket and marinated ribs were really good. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed my meal to the fullest!!The valet parking fee was $10, which was too expensive, so I used street parking nearby.“
“This place was amazing! The food was delicious and very colorful and unique in how they combined different things. Staff was also really attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and food being served.Only thing is that I wish there was more fish in the omakase. The portion sizes were also a bit small“
“Barbecue in California seems to be increasing in popularity every year. When visiting Los Angeles California and craving BBQ, my #1 go to spot, without question, is Bludso’s BBQ.A James Beard Award Wining Pit master and co-host of barbecue showdown (On Netflix), Kevin Bludsos serves up and array of delectable and mouthwatering trays of deliciousness.I ordered the Pork Ribs, Brisket, 1/2 chicken collard greens, fried okra and Cornbread. The ribs were cooked absolutely to perfection as was the brisket and chicken. The flavors were amazing and the meat was plentiful on each rib bone. All the meats come with homemade BBQ sauce but they’re great by themselves. When asked how he cooks his meats Kevin responds, “ Low and slow like a 64.” In essences, time equals perfection. I’ve dined at Bludso’s numerous times. And on each and every occasion the flavor and quality of the meat has remained the same, outstanding.I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge my server, Katie, She was wonderful. It’s evident she truly loves working at the restaurant, which, definitely has a family vibe. She really understand the importance of treating customers well. The wait time for a table can be a while but trust me, it’s well worth the wait. I’ve eaten BBQ all my life from a myriad of businesses across this country and Bludso’s remains supreme, and has set the bar for other BBQ spots to follow suit.LA’s best!“
“The first drawback is that it does not accept one person, and the second drawback is that the reception is very bad, the faces are loud and sad, and the restaurant has delicious soup, but it is expensive and not all dishes are delicious. I did not enjoy the restaurant. There is innovation in it, as Robert serves you with basins to place the food in. One try is enough as an experience.“
“Lovely meal. The menu being "pick a meat and get the sides we give you" is a blessing and a curse. Was a bit sad to not get ssamjang, lettuce, rice etc - perhaps our meat selection didn't pair with those bits but would have liked to know when ordering.Staff and atmosphere were lovely, much fancier than would appear outside. The parking is $4 for a valet to park you car about 5 feet from where you give them the keys, which is madness to a Brit, but maybe normal to the yanks.Overall a positive experience.“
“Came here after reading the reviews. Did not disappoint! We ordered the Beef Bulgogi, Pork Bulgogi Hot, Pork belly, Black Pink Brisket, and LA Galbi. Everything was GREAT but we loved the Pork Bulgogi Hot and the Black Pink Brisket the best. The meat was all high quality. Staff were helpful and fun! Highly recommend this place.“
“Such a lovely place! My friend just moved to the neighborhood and we tried El Morfi out on his first night. So wonderful! The empanadas and sangria were particularly delicious. Though you really can't go wrong with anything you order. Definitely recommend!“
“Did not realize this was Mapo Galmaegi. Iykyk. You have got to get galmaegi. For those first timers to do pork, you will think youre eating beef. Portions are great and I had trouble finishing. Worth the visit. Weekly if youre all about that bbq.“
“Great restaurant for KBBQ. The meat quality is great and the portion sizes are generous! I loved the banchans that were placed at each table before guests arrived, lots of pickled/fermented vegetables, mostly with a sour flavor profile, perfect complement to the grilled meat, super refreshing! There are also sauces that can be personally flavored with spring onions and ginger. Everyone who worked there also put in 100% effort to ensure your meat was grilled beautifully and on time. You can grill yourself or have someone grill you. All in all, we had a lovely evening and can highly recommend the restaurant.“
“Jinsol gukbap was amazing!!! I really loved the sundae gukbap!! It had almost everything in pork . But there was sundae. The service person wasn’t really paying much attention because they were very busy. But I still understand that they are busy.“
“I found it through a Google search while traveling and was very satisfied! Thank you to Jun, who tactfully took our order and explained it in detail, and to Michell, who provided the children with steamed eggs and more seaweed. Thanks to you, we had a pleasant meal during our trip. As the name suggests, it was plentiful and delicious! !“
“Server (I forgot to ask her name) made sure we get the best experience and food to eat. Thank you!Timuay Tri-beef and Adobo is a must try! Bibingka cornbread and ube flan.Parking would be a challenge (street parking). If you're looking for good Filipino food, this place is worth the visit! We will definitely be back for their microbrews (and food)Added to favorites :)“
“Most people are looking for the next big thing when it comes to restaurants. Spoiler alert, this place isn't new! It's been under your radar for decades. Family run. 2 generations and counting. Just go. Simple dining area. Small, 6 tables. I could go on but you'll get bored. Have a great time! Try something you haven't tried before. You'll love it!Vegetarian options: Just leave out the proteinDietary restrictions: VeggieParking: Open lot with day attentionKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: You have space“
“My wife is Korean, and we have dined in all the top Korean places in Los Angeles and Seoul for over 20 years. AB Steak delivers high end versions of traditional Korean classics. The quality of the meat is superior to that of most Korean restaurants, from the melt in your mouth A5 like kkotsal to the marinated short ribs. The egg “soufflé” gyeranjjim has a light cheese sauce and more flavor than typical. Moving perfectly cooked medium rare meat from the grill to a cast iron warmer keeps the meat warm while preventing over cooking is a great idea. Service is capable and friendly.“
“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“
“If you want a quick and filling bite to eat, this is a great affordable option. The kbbq flavours of the meat combined with the simple steamed rice is so pleasant and satisfying. I've tried a few of their dishes and they are so good! Limited parking spaces in the lot though.“
“Looking for a good daechang, gopchang, and makchang spot? This is the place to satisfy your intestine cravings They also have a great selection on meat options if you're not really into intestines but if you're a true foodie and haven't had this before, I suggest you give it a try to experience something new. Don't just judge by the looks 'cus you will be surprised how good they taste. For first timers, I recommend taking your avid Korean foodie friends so they can show you how they eat this, and go for the large intestines or abomasum first. This place is usually always packed even on weekday evenings so that explains how good it is. Our server was great at cooking our meat and friendly which made our dining experience that much better.“
“Met with a long time college friend here for lunch and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, the mala taboki was my favorite. My friend and I shared 6 Yubu, sushi roll, and a hand roll to go. Staff was very friendly and we were told our food will take 10-15 mins to prepare due to the delicate and meticulous nature of preparation and honestly didn't mind. Can't rush good quality meal! Space had ample parking, spacious and even accommodate wheelchair accessibility. You can tell the chef and team put a lot of of care into their food but also making sure all parties feel welcome King Yubu, the official King of LA“
“This place right here ! Man look! I just moved here to California from Kansas, been looking all over for some REAL BBQ. Been craving it like crazy and couldn’t find none. I happened to be in LA today. Was hungry and knew I would find a spot here. Lo and behold , boom! RIB TOWN BBQ!!! Ayyy look I still can’t find me socks ! The Ribs were delicious the brisket was delicious. Potato salad, and beans! I will definitely be back! Oh and the people that there were too tier as well!! I felt like I was at home! Anyway yall keep doing yall thang! I’ll fasho he back!!“
“Looking for the best sidewalk That food in town? This is it. But it's also among the very best tasting Thai food around, whether on the sidewalk or at a regular restaurant.Everything is really well flavored, but the Pad Kapow stir-fried ground pork and basil bowl is not to be missed. Haven't had this at any other restaurants, which is a shame, because it's just that good.“
“I’ve been told this was one of the best Korean BBQ spots of all time, so I had to try it.Lots of excellent sides are excellent, but the potato salad was the best. We ordered the “Large” which had Rib Eye(solid flavor), marinated beef short rib(best tasting meat), grilled bulgogi(excellent flavor), beef belly(great taste), pork belly(excellent taste), & pork jowl(great taste). We also ordered the kimchi soup, kimchi fried rice and steamed egg appetizers. All were solid starters for the table.Even if you don’t know the cooking times, the server was very attentive and knew when to cut and cook all the meats you ordered.I definitely can say this is the greatest Korean bbq spot I’ve ever been to & I’ll definitely be back. Only negative was they ran out of “corn cheese!”There is a bar area and on peak times waits can be around 45 mins to an hour. Well worth the wait & be aware parking is very limited so Uber if you can.“
“Wow! I grew up eating kebabs of all type, rice pilaf, hummus and salads. This place was like eating in mine and all my auntys kitchens!! Everything was to perfection. The meat was perfectly marinated and cooked. Yum!Place is not fancy by any means but the food makes uo for what it lacks in ambiance. Owner and cooks are friendly. Some dint even speak English— only Armenian! I love it.Dont hesitate- just Go when you're in or near Van Nuys.“
“One of my favorite Korean bbq spots. They have free parking with validation. Over the years though they have slowly increased their prices which is reasonable but they also removed the steamed egg and the spicy tofu soup of their all you can eat menu which sucks.“
“We came around 6pm when it was raining on a weekend. Im not sure if this is their usual option, but we were able to request all the meats be cooked by them at the kitchen. It came out piping out and delicious :) also got lots of refills on the side dishes. Posted photo is the smallest size of the tomahawk state, OH BOY it took a while for it to come out but dang it was delicious since it comes to around medium-rare (medium if u leave it on the iron plate). Highly recommend if you go with a group :3!“
“Quiet expensive.Plan your parking, they making whole plaza as a valet parking.Food is good, some meat was to salty.Brisket is good.Hint, do not order beer - 26$ per bottle.Seats is not comfortable, since this restaurant is "all you can eat" type. The don't want you being comfortable there.150-180$ for two persons.“
“ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE. We were able to get a table fast and received appetizers as soon as we sat down. The bbq is AMAZINGLY TASTY and the service was amazing! It felt like a dine and show experience, our waitress was so funny and sweet and gave as an amazing service and experience.“
“I cannot recommend this place enough! I first had Memphis Grill a few months ago and fell in love with everything! When we first had it, I had my fiancé just show up and place an order in person. We learned our lesson after to call in an order after that so the wait isn't too long. We placed an order for Super Bowl Sunday via IG DM, and received a response very quickly! We picked up our order on Sunday and it is still some of the best BBQ we have ever had! It was definitely worth the wait! The customer service here is top notch and the food just takes it over the top! As they have mentioned, everything is made from scratch and you can tell! It's perfect! If you ever thought about trying this place out, do it! I can't get over the tri tip, bbq sauce, mac and cheese along with the mashed potatoes! AMAZING!“
“I found this Korean BBQ place when last Wednesday. It was rain so not too many people. We chose the $57.00/ per person all you can eat. Meat was high quality, service was great, they helped us all the time. Especially, the Tofu Soup was so delicious even better most Tofu restaurants. Lol.If you will be LA Downtown, give it a try.“
“Best Korean BBQ, charcoal really makes a difference. This place is pricey and is not all you can eat but it is fantastic. If cooking your own food intimidates you, no worries, they’re hustling staff will do it for you and help you out as needed. Set a new bar for us. Get the short ribs.“
“It's just a joke. The soybean paste stew and the marinated masisseum meat had a bit of fat, but as soon as I put the mashiseum cold noodles in my mouth, I high-fived the Virgin Mary. I had a great time eating really delicious Korean food that isn't found in Boston. It's better than most meat restaurants in Seocho.“
“I’ve eaten here a few times, both dine in and delivery. The kebabs are always amazing. The spice mix is truly incredible. If you dine in, you make an order on a mobile site (via a QR code on the table) that lets your whole party add to the order and see what everyone else has ordered — it’s very convenient for a full table where you plan to eat family style!“
“Dining at Pigya in Los Angeles was a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations, thanks in large part to the exceptional service and culinary delights we encountered. From the moment we made reservations for our family of five, the awesome employees at Pigya ensured our visit was seamless and special.Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly staff. The atmosphere was inviting, making us feel right at home. Our server was the epitome of attentiveness, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, guiding us through the selections with expert advice. This level of service was not only refreshing but significantly enhanced our dining experience. We ordered pork gyu which was enough for our family. The banchans were delicious. Our server cooked the meats. Cooked to absolute perfection, every bite was a culinary revelation. The flavors were bold, yet perfectly balanced, showcasing a level of culinary craftsmanship that is hard to find.Everything we ordered was delicious, leaving us thoroughly impressed and eager to return. Pigya in Los Angeles has not only mastered the art of cooking but also the ability to create a dining experience that feels both personal and extraordinary. This is a place where food and service come together in perfect harmony, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in some of the best cuisine LA has to offer.“
“My go-to spot for a real Middle Eastern cuisine experience is Shawarma House in Sunland. The mouthwatering aroma of sizzling shawarmas and fragrant spices welcomed me as soon as I entered this cozy restaurant, assuring me of a special eating experience. The environment at Shawarma House is warm and friendly, creating a comfortable setting ideal for savoring their tasty cuisine. The welcoming and helpful employees contribute to the appeal by making sure that every visitor is treated like family from the time they enter the building.Let's now discuss the shawarmas, which are the main attraction. Each juicy and properly seasoned shawarma at Shawarma House is created with succulent meat or delectable falafel and wrapped in soft pita bread. The garnishes and“
“Words don't mean anything unless you come here and try it yourself. The food is amazing fresh off the grill. You can taste the fire that cooked it. It's that good. Lady in front is courteous and helpful. The place is small but intimate. You definitely can't go wrong coming here.“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“This is my first time trying Korean-Latin cuisine, which is so delicious! The owner suggested ordering the kalbi cheese fries which I'm glad that I ordered it! I got the rock combination plate and double cheeseburger as well! They have a self serve salad bar near the front which is convenient! The staff here so very friendly and it was a little empty at that time we came in so they were able to help us out! I loved how they put the posters around the store!“
“Food was great, server was amazing, little bit on a small size so if u come late you will have to wait. Only complaint would be meat being not enough salty but thats personal preferenc, so your milage may very. Will def come back... oh n price is good.Parking: Right next to the building“
“Stopped by for a quick lunch bite.Great customer service and also such a tasty meal ordered a lamb chops plate and a side of hummus. There was only 3 lamb chops, :( wished there was more since they were delicious however we'll come back for more lol We recommend this one ? the dish came with all the condiments“
“Food here was excellent! This was my first time trying Armenian food and gosh it was super good ! Service was good and the time to wait for food was pretty quick as well! The food itself is absolutely delicious. The place itself is a little small but regardless very clean and subtle. Highly recommend this place !“
“This spot only serves duck. And salad. So if you're looking for other types of meat, this is not your spot. Having said that, and having no idea what the menu looked like, it's not exactly the type of duck that I was expecting. I've only had duck prepared the Chinese way, which is roasted or barbecued. Instead, they give you a lot of thin duck slices that you fry at your table. Along with that, they give you some veggie side dishes to complement the duck, including a nice large salad. As many of you foodies know, duck is pretty fatty. So once all the duck has been fried, it leaves a pool of rendered duck fat that they mix in with the last, and best, item of the night: the rice fried in duck fat. Really, really rich and tasty. Loved it.As for the duck itself, it's a mild flavor and a bit chewy. And they give you tons of it. You will get your money's worth. It's best eaten with the veggie sides and the salad. My only wish is that they had a sauce (maybe a sesame) along with some salt to give the meat some flavor. Other than that, it's a solid spot and something you should try if you're into duck.“
“Finally got a chance to try this out since had my eye on it since it opened in the neighborhood. The restaurant is on the smaller side and has about 15 tables total so definitely have a bit of patience if going right at dinner time. They only take reservations for parties over 5. If you go at non-peak times, should be able to get seated right away. The host and servers were friendly and constantly came by to clear plates as they were finished and refill drinks. Food wise, you can order a la carte or from 2 levels of AYCE. We went for the premium AYCE and enjoyed it after leaving stuffed and wagyu oozing from our pores. The meat quality was excellent and while each plate was only 4-7 slices, you can just keep ordering if you can handle all the rich and fatty meats. The carpaccios and other appetizers were good and you can order 1/2 size of many dishes so you don't overstuff yourself. So while the price ($75), for premium is definitely up there, it is fair for the quality of the meats and other options. You have a 90 min. limit so be mindful of that as the food does not come out as quickly when the restaurant is full. Overall, something to splurge on once in a while and if you're looking for premium meats. Friendly tip- wear clothes you don't mind smelling like bbq/smoke as their exhaust system could use some improvement as you can visibly see the smoke later in the night when busy as the exhaust at each table is lacking in effectiveness.“
“I really like this chain barbecue restaurant. Among them, the Santa Monica branch is the only one where you can barbecue with charcoal. It's charming because you can eat like grilling meat while camping. All the other meats are similar in quality to other branches. Most of the servers are friendly. The only downside is that this branch does not offer the signature dish of Manpuku, Sukiyaki. It's a very delicious dish where thinly sliced high-quality meat is lightly cooked, then wrapped around sushi rice and dipped in raw egg. This dish is available at all other branches. If you want to grill meat yourself using charcoal, make a reservation for an outdoor table. But remember, Sukiyaki is not available at this branch.“
“I haven’t eaten the food yet and already want to recommend this place. Vivian has one of the most beautiful spirits I’ve encountered. She makes you feel like family as soon as you walk through the door. She gave me a sample of their bbq baked beans while I was waiting and no lie they were the best bbq baked beans I’ve ever tasted. Also the Kool-aid is A1!!! Highly recommend!“
“Food was great! The service was excellent! They take reservations on weekends which is rare in Ktown I think. We were a pretty big party, but they were so nice from the beginning. I’m so glad that I found this place! Thank you soooo much!! See you again!“
“The reviews are not wrong. For a nice break from the Walk of Fame this place is perfect! Had a poke bowl and a green jasmine iced tea w/ mango and they were delicious and hit the spot! The host at the counter was nice too and the music is relaxing.“
“The people that my husband and have encountered at Sisig are truly some of the nicest people we have encountered. It’s always a delight to go in. We are in the area in business and I have to go and get a food and/or drinks for my husband and I. It’s enjoyable to go into the restaurant because of the people that work there .“
“The food is very good. I've had the trip tip sandwich and the Buckeye burger (on separate occasions). Both were excellent. I had the peanut coleslaw as a side, it was good just not my taste. It has whole peanuts mixed in. Not sure what I was expecting but not that for some reason. If possible make a reservation, there can be a wait if you don't.Plenty of adjacent parking. They also offer catering.Parking: There are two adjacent lots, one behind the restaurant and the other across the streetWheelchair accessibility: Ramp available“
“Is this good Falafel or what? I've been here twice but it only keeps getting better and better. We got a Falafel baguette, with french fries and a side of chicken schnitzel. I asked for a jalapeño to add a little heat to my food and boy did he delivered . The owner is very friendly and tends to his costumers with a smile. Very kind soul. Cannot recommend this place enough. Also, I didn't take a pic, but he's got a table with a Washing Cup setting for Al Netilas Yadayim. So props for that!“
