“This is a great place! There BBQ is fall off the bone good! It's also probably some of the best priced bbq you'll find in the valley. If you have kids that are picky eaters (or husbands) the Mac and cheese is the bomb! You can also get pizza here as well so there really is something for everyone!“
“It was great to eat with family!!I chose All U Can, and the meat quality was better than I expected. In particular, the brisket and marinated ribs were really good. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed my meal to the fullest!!The valet parking fee was $10, which was too expensive, so I used street parking nearby.“
“After eating here for the first time, I told my brother (who I ate with) this is definitely the spot to bring the parents. A couple months later, we brought mom and dad. Enough said. Service and quality of food were really good. Highlights include marinated prime short rib, aged prime tenderloin, steamed egg, and Korean chimichurri sauce.“
“First time trying this bbq spot and it was 5 stars all around! All of the servers are top notch and work together to make sure all customers are taken care of and the food is amazing. Highly recommend topping your meal off with the banana pudding!“
“My wife is Korean, and we have dined in all the top Korean places in Los Angeles and Seoul for over 20 years. AB Steak delivers high end versions of traditional Korean classics. The quality of the meat is superior to that of most Korean restaurants, from the melt in your mouth A5 like kkotsal to the marinated short ribs. The egg “soufflé” gyeranjjim has a light cheese sauce and more flavor than typical. Moving perfectly cooked medium rare meat from the grill to a cast iron warmer keeps the meat warm while preventing over cooking is a great idea. Service is capable and friendly.“
“Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“
“Food was great! The service was excellent! They take reservations on weekends which is rare in Ktown I think. We were a pretty big party, but they were so nice from the beginning. I’m so glad that I found this place! Thank you soooo much!! See you again!“
“Shout out to the person working at Old Style Guitars who recommended this place. It’s walking distance from Gold Diggers and Hollywood Forever (both great concert venues), and honestly some of the best eggplant I’ve ever had.The menu is simple and straightforward, with one vegan/vegetarian option. The tofu and eggplant bowl was insanely delicious. Huge portions, very reasonable price, and piping hot and fresh.I walked there and ordered from the cashier, and it was a ten minute wait for food. You can order online in advance for pick up from their website, and it seems like they do a ton of delivery. They gave me napkins, a fork, and soy sauce and sriracha packets, but I didn’t need them because it was seasoned and flavored perfectly. The tofu was melt in your mouth soft, not chewy at all, my favorite way of eating it. The in house pickled veggies were so good, and balanced the flavors in the dish. There were cashews for a crunch, and some onions and bok choy, all on a bed of fluffy white rice.I know LA has a ton of places to eat but I would definitely come back just for this bowl. After the rest of my group saw and smelled what I was eating, they all went to go order from there themselves and agreed it was delicious.Vegetarian options: The menu is super simple and there’s one vegan bowl but it’s incredible and totally worth it.“
“We've been coming here for years and I think I've been to this spot more times than any other place in ktown! They basically have 3 items on the menu: Duck, Duck, or Duck. Pro tip: If it's your first time here, just get the basic duck slices and your banchan and here's why. Although the duck here is delicious, the highlight of the meal really comes at the end. Koreans make a big deal about duck fat and it's health benefits over other types of unhealthy fat. So as you're grilling your duck in the center of the table, they plug up the grill with a small piece of kimchi and let that golden clear duck fat pool up at the end of the grill. When you're done, she'll come out with a big bowl of korean red rice, dump it into that crystal clear duck fat along with all of your remaining banchan (make sure to leave enough or order more!) and make the best fried rice from your leftover duck fat, that you've ever eaten anywhere.... This is the way. So the 3 duck dishes are basically duck slices, duck strips, or spicy marinated duck. If you order the spicy duck, it messes up the grill and fat a little and the rice is not quite as good. Definitely try it on your second visit (and you will be back after your first) but keep it simple for your first time!“
“Went to Sam's for the first time today... all I can say is yum! Food was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, very friendly! Love how they cook the kebabs over charcoal out front. Restaurant was clean which is always good sign! Will definitely be back!“
“I found this Korean BBQ place when last Wednesday. It was rain so not too many people. We chose the $57.00/ per person all you can eat. Meat was high quality, service was great, they helped us all the time. Especially, the Tofu Soup was so delicious even better most Tofu restaurants. Lol.If you will be LA Downtown, give it a try.“
“Unbelievably good food. I had the Memphis style pork rib meal. The dry rub is perfect and delicious. Add the occasion dip of their homemade BBQ sauce for more perfection. The beans were homemade and had a light smoke flavor with some meat in it. The potato salad was unique and delicious as well. They take real pride in their food as they should. Some of the best bbq I had had in a long time…and I try a lot of them! Go treat yourself. Take out only“
“Finally got a chance to try this out since had my eye on it since it opened in the neighborhood. The restaurant is on the smaller side and has about 15 tables total so definitely have a bit of patience if going right at dinner time. They only take reservations for parties over 5. If you go at non-peak times, should be able to get seated right away. The host and servers were friendly and constantly came by to clear plates as they were finished and refill drinks. Food wise, you can order a la carte or from 2 levels of AYCE. We went for the premium AYCE and enjoyed it after leaving stuffed and wagyu oozing from our pores. The meat quality was excellent and while each plate was only 4-7 slices, you can just keep ordering if you can handle all the rich and fatty meats. The carpaccios and other appetizers were good and you can order 1/2 size of many dishes so you don't overstuff yourself. So while the price ($75), for premium is definitely up there, it is fair for the quality of the meats and other options. You have a 90 min. limit so be mindful of that as the food does not come out as quickly when the restaurant is full. Overall, something to splurge on once in a while and if you're looking for premium meats. Friendly tip- wear clothes you don't mind smelling like bbq/smoke as their exhaust system could use some improvement as you can visibly see the smoke later in the night when busy as the exhaust at each table is lacking in effectiveness.“
“The brisket, pulled pork and bunt ends were great... for LA. The brisket was well seasoned and very tender (almost too tneder], the pulled pork was soft and a good mixed of stringy and chunky pieces but a little too dry and the burnt ends were juicy. The garlic bread was tasty and the cornbread was tender and not too sweet. The homade bbq sauce variety was nice, including the mustard sauce for the pulled pork and maple bbq sauce. For the sides, the garlic potatoes were tasty but the mac and cheese was average because it was too thin and lacked en I ugh cheese taste.Service was quick and efficient.“
“Words don't mean anything unless you come here and try it yourself. The food is amazing fresh off the grill. You can taste the fire that cooked it. It's that good. Lady in front is courteous and helpful. The place is small but intimate. You definitely can't go wrong coming here.“
“It was all really good. We got seated in a booth. The waitress gave us the option to hear her spiel about the drink menu, so we were able to skip that. The food was great. I had the Carolina Pulled Pork sw. It was too much for me to eat it all, but I got the rest takeaway and ate it later. The atmosphere was dark like a good BBQ place. ?Vegetarian options: My friend had the veggie burger and she ate it all and said it was good. It had black beans in it, maybe a little crumbly but still yummy.“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“My first time in Santa Monica. My friend searched Mexican food spots in the area and we chose this one. Ordered for pickup and it was ready in a good amount of time. My food was hot, fresh, and flavorful. I got the OG Burrito with Birria and churros. So so good! Highly recommend you stop here and enjoy the other options as well. Customer service was great, too.“
“Food was great, server was amazing, little bit on a small size so if u come late you will have to wait. Only complaint would be meat being not enough salty but thats personal preferenc, so your milage may very. Will def come back... oh n price is good.Parking: Right next to the building“
“This is an institution in ktown. It's hard to find very authentic Korean food as most are following trendy foods that cater to too sweet or too salty. Another way to know it's authentic is all the Korean grandmas and grandpas. But yes food is good and service is also impeccable!“
“Wait until the weather is warmer and eat outside because the inside grills don't use fire and the exhaust fans don't seem strong enough. Overall the food quality is a little better than normal barbecue places but we still prefer Park's BBQ or Gyu-Kaku.Service here is especially slow since they seem to lack enough staff. The atmosphere is casual.“
“The reviews are not wrong. For a nice break from the Walk of Fame this place is perfect! Had a poke bowl and a green jasmine iced tea w/ mango and they were delicious and hit the spot! The host at the counter was nice too and the music is relaxing.“
“Mmmm... I love eight bbq! Their food is DELICIOUS and the service is usually AMAZING! I love all their flavors of pork belly and the kimchi fried rice is so good! The place is pretty nice, even though it isn't that new so that's a plus. So I highly recommend this place if you love Korean bbq.“
“How I've never managed to come across this place till today is beyond me. The pork belly is really wonderfully good. Paul is really warm and friendly behind the counter. The pork belly is rich, crunchy in the right places, seasoned to perfection. See pictures, go here, eat up, you'll love it.“
“all pretty good! clams specifically was a large amount and our group really enjoyed that theres a few of these korean seafood bbq this ones definitely more relaxed vibe younger folks too alot more drinking which is chill the waiter did alot of the cooking especially when you're with a group of girls who dont know when its ready or not seafood can be tricky we actually finished everything got the 2nd biggest combo will probably come again!“
“This place is the perfect spot for inexpensive, filling Chinese-American food. It has two buffets, one with pre-cooked food and one with meat and veggies for the Mongolian BBQ. You pay by the weight of what you eat. But the buffet food seems fresh because the restaurant is busy. If you're craving orange chicken or similarly deep fried foods, this is the place.“
“The food is delicious. My order is the Kefta plate & Love the style of pita. I assume this is a family owned business because the people who take your order treat you like an old friend or a family member in the best way. They show their customers so much love. & I walk out feeling like these are good people, doing all they can for others. I totally recommend & will be back for more Kefta.“
“An institution with the best brisket in town.Small funky lil shack on Sepulveda you'd drive right by if you didn't already know it was there and were specifically looking for it.They have a lovely well appointed dimly lit dining room and the waitresses are nice and make effort to be charming in that comforting way restaurant staff used to be back in the day.But I'm going to assume most, like me, phone and simply pick up their order to take out.Mostly I assume to also like me maintain some sense of self respect. What with all the hungry sounds of your indulgence of the savory tastings feeding deliciously eating licking your fingers smacking your lips and what not... it's just embarrassing, shamelessly undignified... Nobody needs to see that ツViel Spaß!Christon ツParking: Since is a very small place there is parking albeit limited“
“It was lunch and I was hungry I stopped a new spot to me ! I love trying new places ! It was worth itI went with the hot wings just was in the mood it’s priced well but wow it was amazing the hot wings had the correct amount of sauce fresh chicken excellent dipping ranch“
“I’ve eaten here a few times, both dine in and delivery. The kebabs are always amazing. The spice mix is truly incredible. If you dine in, you make an order on a mobile site (via a QR code on the table) that lets your whole party add to the order and see what everyone else has ordered — it’s very convenient for a full table where you plan to eat family style!“
“I really meant to include a photo with my review, but it was gone before I could get one. Outstanding BBQ from some genuinely nice people! The brisket was moist and tender and the ribs absolutely fell off the bone. Don’t skip the mac and cheese or the greens. If you’ve been driving by and not stopping, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Eat at AJ’s!“
“Place has a total revamp and upgraded feel to it. You can tell the guys that run it care. Makes good food and good vibe, great area they cook outside sometimes and it smells great ? try it out, really got that Local Burbank feel Traditional food with Eastern Flavor and care.“
“Stopped by this business earlier this afternoon and met the owner. Was in awe of the quality of food and service. Humble people, incredible quality of food, and a beautiful small business we drove 40 mins based on a friend's recommendation. Personally I don't understand the few haters who wrote negative reviews on this place - all I can say is this place tops every single Armenian food and catering business we've ordered 10s of thousands of service/food from! In summary we loved everything about the place - quality of food, service, ambiance, and will recommend it unequivocally to all friends and family. Moreover, we will go out of our way to order future catering from Gev's kitchen. Way to go my new friend, you earned our business and trust for years to come!“
“Went to the Smoke House for St. Patrick's Day corned beef & cabbage special dinner. Also had the Tulamore Dew & brew special. Service was excellent. Everything tasted so good. Oh, of course we had the garlic bread. It was a fine evening.“
“As a connoisseur of bbq and one who does it at home, I was skeptical at first. Maple Block Meat Co. exceeded my expectations in all areas. The ambiance and customer service were on point and the food was phenomenal. The entire staff was super friendly and the ambiance had a great mixture of modern restaurant and old school smokehouse charm. We had the Feast and thoroughly enjoyed it and the perfect end of the meal was the chocolate bread pudding. The only thing that bummed me out was that they were out of sausage and they don’t offer smoked turkey at dinner, but that just means I have to make a return trip.Parking: Come early and you can get a spot in the small parking lot. Other than that, it is finding parking on the street.“
“Food was pretty good and well seasoned. Chick was awesome, brisket was good but maybe a little thin, links were good, pork ribs were maybe on the dryer side then use to but still good. Cornbread was on point, and cold Mac taste a little store bought.“
“By far the best Chinese food that I have ever had. You know it’s good when you see how many Asians eat there. Portions are smaller. Prices are higher. But they good news is they finally they take credit cards!Dietary restrictions: Can be a little high in sodium. So ask for no MSG if it bothers you. Or just drink lots of water. ?“
“this is the only thai place my family gets take out from — simply incomparable to any other thai i’ve had in the valley or LA. the portions are large, the flavor is balanced, and the texture of the rice and noodles are always perfect. absolutely best place for thai in LA in my opinion. highly recommend the pad thai, pad see ew, house fried rice“
“Very clean place and the food was good. They serve most of their meat frozen but still has good flavor. since there was not alot of people there we did not wait long in between meat orders. They provide little sides like bean sprouts, kimchi....etc and a complimentary house soup and salad before you start digging into their meatsParking: About 10 to 15 stalls, very small limited parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Yes handicap parking and no stairs“
“Great lowkey spot for KBBQ, prices are great, staff is quick and attentive and all the mains, sides are delicious. I also love the music it was an amazing touch to raise the energy of the place. Only thing I didn't love was the pre paying before but it wasn't a huge deal just FYI. Will be returning though.“
“Me and my friends went to this place on last Friday evening, 3/15. It was so busy although, our server Danny was very attentive and keep checked if we need any other stuffs. Meats were kind of frozen but not too bad, they did a little birthday song as well which was cute haha. Overall it was awesome, definitely coming back later!“
“Lovely place, great atmosphere, music and good food. Visited last year. The staff was very friendly, we were short on cash and had just too little for the beers. The employee gave us the beer for free, because a good burger should come with a beer. Fantastic!“
“So for it being my first time there it was all delicious and waitress was perfect, the service was amazing overall, I would give it a 5 stars but because we had a horrible bill complication. Just if you pay cash make sure you count the money together that you give to your waitress there on the spot before she walks away. Because today we over paid $100 hundred dollars. My bill was $513.27 and ended up paying $613.27 A total for a party of 10 We didn't not get a refund We still paid for parking because parking is 15 dollars. Mike the manger said we can come back and maybe redeem the lost $100. But not sure if I even want to!“
“Skip ono and l&l - this is your new go to Hawaiian spot. One man show but the food is incredibly good and cooked to perfection?Mr. Chin is a very sweet old soul who clearly has years of making his wonderful home-cooked foods! Prices are great and he gives hefty portions too!! 잘먹었습니다!!“
“Outstanding restaurant. Best Japanese BBQ we've ever had. Highly recommended. We had the Wagyu meal and then added on additional skirt and ribeye. Also had sides of corn, edamame, and garlic noodles. The garlic noodles were tops! Meats were perfectly, thinly sliced, and obviously of a high-quality.“
“First time for my son and I at a Korean BBQ, so we were a little unsure how it worked. The staff explained and we were well on our way. All I can say is: AMAZING! ?. Everything was super fresh, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend (it WAS a recommendation to us, so I should pay it forward, right?).“
“This place right here ! Man look! I just moved here to California from Kansas, been looking all over for some REAL BBQ. Been craving it like crazy and couldn’t find none. I happened to be in LA today. Was hungry and knew I would find a spot here. Lo and behold , boom! RIB TOWN BBQ!!! Ayyy look I still can’t find me socks ! The Ribs were delicious the brisket was delicious. Potato salad, and beans! I will definitely be back! Oh and the people that there were too tier as well!! I felt like I was at home! Anyway yall keep doing yall thang! I’ll fasho he back!!“
“Absolutely hands down the BEST Thai food in Southern California. They have authentic Thai dishes but the one I get every time is the 91 with extra shrimp spicy. It is TO DIE FOR. Also the holy basil with ground beef is probably one of favorite all time dishes. You can't go wrong.“
