It's pretty good, had to go four stars because I don't like all the sides, but the meat is nice and tender, the sauce is solid. The potato salad is great, as are the chili beans. I'm not too big on their macaroni salad or baked beans but that's okay! I still come back to eat because I know there's things I like from there. The food is great, BBQ SAUCE IS SO DANK!Started going for lunch during work, and it is one of the best BBQ spots in Ventura, they need to add a Mac and Cheese to their menu, maybe even BRISKET to make it unique as many BBQ Spots in Ventura don't do Brisket.

Food is amazing. I got the two meat plate and it was delicious. I always get the 50/50 BBQ sauce, not to mild or not too hot. Garlic toast is so tasty and the macaroni and potato salads are good. Very busy place but they serve quick. Customers are in and out. Small dine in area. Accommodates a family of 4 or 5 easily, but room is limited. It's between Cronies and SkyHigh, so parking on the weekends is pretty full. It's my go to spot for delishes BBQ. Totally recommend.
