“The wife and I went here for our ten year anniversary, it was great they serve alcohol if you want. We had the tiger shrimp cocktail which was great the cocktail sauce had some horseradish on the side and I had to try it great with a kick. For our main course we had halibut with organic brown rice and organic black beans, to be honest it was one of the best meals I've had in years. I will definitely be coming back.“
“Spur of the moment lunch after hiking the Ventura Botanical gardens, great choice! We split the Cobb salad then she had the lamb burger and I had the turkey&pesto sandwich! Wonderful food and very good service for a busy Friday afternoon. Delicious flavors will have us coming back again!“
“Had dinner Saturday night with my wife, food was amazing. We started with the mussels as an appetizer then I had the crab and spinach salad and my wife had the cave salad add salmon. Everything about it was amazing. Especially the service, Sarah was our main server but we also were helped by a Rachel and Megan. We sometimes forget about the cave with its location but it’s a place we’ve always loved and and enjoyed when we get the chance to get in.“
“The 2 brothers and their wives (who are sisters) own and run this winery. The sisters dad also helps out. I enjoy coming here to taste, drink and buy wine. They have fun wine pick up parties. Elissa and Holly (the sisters) are very welcoming and friendly. They make coming here fun!“
“I had my Birthday party at Buddys and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. It's a great space for a large group, everyone is free to order at the bar at their leisure. All of her wines are curated and thoughtfully sourced, most are small batch so it's definitely a place to try something new. I am also obsessed with the hammy jammy sandwich, definitely a must. If I am not feeling wine the beer selection is also great same with the N/A options. Perfect spot if you're looking for a nice atmosphere and have a larger group.“
“This was my first visit to Deep Sea wines. They have two tasting flights: an all red flight for $26 and a mixed flight called the Signature Tasting Flight for $20. I decided to try the Signature Tasting Flight which consisted of a 2022 "The Seahorse" Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 "The Seaturtle" Chardonnay, 2022 "The Seastar" Rose, 2021 "The Helmet" Pinot Noir, and 2021 "The Duel" Red Blend. They also offer food, ranging from a cheese plate ($18), three pizza options, two desserts. I didn't have any food during my tastings but some other customers ordered while I was there and the pizzas looked really tasty. Definitely might give them a chance the next time I stop by. I enjoyed all the wines I had that day but I ended up taking The Seahorse Sauvignon Blanc home. They also were kind enough to let me try the Conway Pinot Noir which was different from the Helmet Pinot that was part of the Signature Flight. I love when I'm able to do a side-by-side comparison of two wines - it often helps me decide what I'm going to purchase. Even though I preferred the Helmet Pinot more than the Conway (although both were really good), I was in a Sauvignon Blanc mood so I decided to take that home. The tasting room was spacious with comfy couches, bar seating and even an outdoor patio. With the location being at Ventura Harbor Village, there wasn't really a bad seat in the house as you're able to look out at the boats and water while you taste. As for parking, when I arrived at about 10:30 am that morning (the tasting room doesn't open until 11am) there were plenty of spaces. But other customers that came in after me commented how it was hard to find parking as there was an event happening that day, so the lot was very full. Stephanie and Jessica poured my wines for me and they were great! Answered all my questions, were prompt when I was ready for my next pour and were super pleasant. Even when they got very busy towards the end of my tasting, they still made sure I was taken care of. Would definitely recommend it.“
“I've been a regular at the Victoria pub for over 25 years and they never disappoint! Nice strong drinks, yummy food, and friendly service. Give em a try!My favorites are their breakfast shots, cajun chicken sandwich, potato skins, and wings! My hubby really loves their burgers and shepherds pie...Kid-friendliness: Kids have fun here too! Mine love their burgers and playing pool upstairs. Nice and loud for a rowdy group“
“I have visited The Cave twice, a week apart. The first time was for a wine pairing dinner, which we did with another couple. There were 5 courses (appetizer, salad, two entree courses, and dessert) and each dish was delicious. We decided to return a week later to see if it would be as good for just an ordinary night out. The restaurant was not too busy (it was a Tuesday) but each of the dishes we enjoyed was well prepared and very good. We ordered the Macadamia Crusted Salmon, a chicken special stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, and another chicken dish. The restaurant is attached to a wine shop, and if you don't want to sample wines by the ounce or order wine off the restaurant list, you can go into the shop and choose from literally hundreds of wines at all price points and then bring the bottle into the restaurant where they will serve the wine for a very minimal ($10) corkage fee. Done be put off by its location in an industrial park. This place is a gem! Inside it looks like a wine cave and they usually have some quiet live music at dinner time. This is definitely one of the better dinner spots in Ventura!“
“Beautiful property and tasty wine selection! Enjoyed playing bocce ball while sipping our flights. We went on a Thursday so it was quiet and exceptionally serene! Staff was friendly, helpful and laid back. Grabbed a bottle of their White and Grenache for later & look forward to visiting in the future!“
“I was impressed by the menu. Order each course to your liking. Each course elegantly served to enjoy every bite of delicious foods. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. Dark atmosphere with candle lighting. I truly enjoyed my experience there and put Prime steakhouse on my favorite list.“
“11/5/23 - was wanting spaghetti and meatballs with a salad. All was really good only I wish they would put more sauce in with the spaghetti and the meatballs should be kept in sauce as well. They're so naked and a bit dry.Hadn't been here in a really long time. Had some Presto Bucks so came in to get dinner. They were hopping, waited a little but to place my order. Then something came up with someone who ordered after me and then line to order stopped moving. But I could see the cooks in the back just loading them counter with all these orders and no one doing anything about them. Then as Postmates person camw in to pick up an order, and a couple of phone in orders showed up. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get my order and there was still as line of people up to the door to order still. Love how you can pick your pasta and sauce. Their salads are so yummy. Great place!!“
“Truly one of a kind restaurant. This place is an experience, and you're lucky if you get to eat here. The food is amazing. Bread and charcuterie is outstanding, the pasta blows my mind. Great wine selection. Extremely attentive service. Hard not to love everything about this place.“
