“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.A great 'neighborhood' place, that gets to know you and very accommodating and fun to talk to.Rebecca and Sue will always greet you with a smile, with fun events going on here and there. “Pepper and Pint is a hidden gem in the studio city area! The same owner of Jinky's, Alan, created this tavern concept. Jinky's cafe turns into an amazing tavern at 3pm with delicious drinks and Indian inspired tavern fusion. You can already tell by the plating that the food is incredible. The service is fast and super responsive!The ambiance could be worked on as it still feels like Jinky's but I think they're working on that. I heard they were going to start doing live jazz music soon so be on the lookout for that.Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 3.5/5Next time you're in the area check them out!“

“Great service and quaint neighborhood surrounding it with cure shops up and down the street. There's stores to buy clothes that are not too pricey and a variety of eclectic shops with interesting themes to check out before and after dinner. There's coffee places and candy stores and ice cream there's gift stores etc and If you don't mind that Robert Blake who was the actor in Columbo - sh ot his wife there after dining then go give it a try. Waiters and staff are epic. Food is good. There's some venue upstairs with entertainment I've not checked out but there is a constant flow of 40 - 50 year olds with young families and urbanites enjoying the night. It fills up in the evenings. Very popular.“

“We loved the Portland location and had high expectations when visiting in LA. Fortunately, Farmhouse Kitchen lived up to its reputation! We visited over lunch which provided a special menu option with soup, appetizers, and entree. Service was impeccable - so friendly and attentive. We'll be back!“

“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. “Food and wine selection at AOC is very good. The service is what stood out most. I dined here Monday night and the hostess was very kind. Michael our waiter really made our night. He had great menu and drink recommendations and his positive attitude was so infectious it really made our night. He really set the standard for amazing service. We will be back asap to see him!“

“This is an L.A. bar with an NYC feel…post gentrification. A good place for an intimate situation or for bein’ a gaggle of gays and theys. Not sure about the pricing as I was treated to my libations, but the service was friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness. They have high tops on one side and soft seating on the other with bar seating in between the two.“

“The restaurant needs to buy one can of WD-40 to fix their squeaky front door. Had to wait 20 minutes outside the front door waiting for our table (which was not a big deal) but for the incredibly squeaky front door which opens repeatedly. Everyone waiting for their table was getting a headache. Food was great. I won't return until I know that door is fixed.“

“Located just a 15-minute walk from the Ahmanson Theatre, Maccheroni Republic is a wonderful find. The outdoor seating area is inviting, and the service is top-notch. We enjoyed the Burrata appetizer and indulged in two pasta dishes: Bianchi Neri and Pom'Amore, both of which were absolutely delicious. A perfect pre-show dining spot with great ambiance and even better food.“

“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.“

Followed that up with the Meatloaf & Trout which both had very unique flavors. “This is the best vegan Italian food I've ever had. Caprese salad got the flavors and textures exactly right. Calzone was delicious, and the cacio e pepe was exactly right. Tiramisu was a lovely end to the meal. Since going vegan almost 20 years ago I have never had this kind of authentic food done so well. Atttentive service too.“

“Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

“Such a cute little wine bar in the heart of DTLA! My friend and I decided to catch up over early dinner here. We ordered the coldbrew martini and the non-alcoholic prosecco. We also shared the caesar salad, meatballs, piquillo peppers, and the margherita flatbread. Everything was delicious and tasty. We were pleased with everything we ordered. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Our service was efficient. There is no free parking available, but we paid to park in a lot nearby.“

“This was an adorable place for pastries and lunch. There is free parking in the structure nearby, and paid street parking around. My partner and I split the Chilaquiles, which was phenomenal with fresh and crisp chips. The pastry we ordered was an apple danish of some sort, and that was delightful as well. You order in the front before self seating, and enjoying a laid-back time with yourself or your friends. The staff were super friendly. The prices were quite high, but understandable for the location and quality of food.“

It was literally the best restaurant for kids, even though they don't have a children's menu! They offered half portions of pasta for our kids, and made a special "plain" dish for my picker eater. They also were very patient and helpful in dealing with a food allergy. Casual dress was just fine, although the interior and the food feel "fancy." The location is extremely convenient (just around the corner) if you are staying at the SLS hotel. Highly recommended.“

“Pasta Sisters is a real treat and on our list of places to dine at whenever we’re in Culver City. Our kids love it here and their pasta always comes out so good. The never ending bread service is amazing as well. Today we tried the Bottarga, Tomato and Basil topped with burrata, and the Truffle from the Not So Secret menu. We took a tiramisu to go because we were so stuffed. Afterwards we walked our pasta off at a few of the furniture stores within walking distance.“

“Love their pasta and order delivery often but had a babysitter last weekend so we got to go to the actual space for the first time. Very lively and cozy and friendly - the staff and clientele alike. We've yet to encounter a dish we haven't loved. The papperdelle and bucatini are my favorites, and our family enjoyed the mushroom fettuccine and lamb gnocchi. The shrimp diavola and the meatballs make excellent sides/starters. All of the desserts are fantastic - pannacotta is a huge hit, tiramisu is on point and Nutella bites are a pretty unique snack-size dessert.“

I do not recommend this hotel for you to stay, even if it is renewed and renowned, the staff at the terrace restaurant is slow and not really willing to help you, the only one really nice is BRYAN if you go ask for him.The room quality is ok the drapes do not close so you'll sleep with a ray of light, the pillows are awful and they can't do anything to solve the problem. At the valet only if you ask twice they will assist you. They have a lot of things to work on in order to be truly five stars. “This is my favorite wine bar near Hollywood.I was told by a friend who lives locally that this is a great wine bar that tourists never get to visit.The food is delicious, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is stylish, and it makes me smile to see each customer having a wonderful time, making the meal enjoyable.I came here by myself, worked on my computer, read a book with a glass of wine, went on a date with friends or as a couple, everything was a wonderful space.All the wines taste extremely delicious. “I've been coming here to Bodevi many times this past year. I was so stoked when I found out they serve wine AND espresso. I initially was drawn to their WINE FLIGHTS and VEGAN CHARCUTERIE. But lately maybe because of the cold weather I've been craving their LOX & CREAM CHEESE TOAST and BLUEBERRY GINGER LATTE. They pay really great attention to detail because my lox toast is perfectly spread all the way to the edges. The salmon perfectly scrunched for texture (not just laid out flat) and topped with sliced red onions. Then drizzled with oil I think and perfectly garnished with dill and capers...yumm!! Love the orange slices as well! The blueberry ginger latte is so unique and pretty! It has a richness to it like mocha but perfectly balanced. I get mine with oat milk. And I love seeing actual blueberries on it to give it a nice finishing touch. Get this before they switch out their seasonal menu! Once the weather warms up I may go back to trying their wine flights again. I recommend THE DAVID BOWIE so you can have the assortment of white, rose, and red if you're trying their wines for the first time. Other items I definitely recommend are the BURRATA PISTACHIO SANDWICH (I get mine minus the prosciutto to make it vegetarian) , the VEGAN DELI SANDWICH, and the DEVILED EGGS. You can't go wrong with those. They're delicious! They even have an assortment of board games, chess, and checkers that you can play in the private room in the back. So chic and charming for big parties! Service is wonderful! My lattes always come out perfect here made by Caleb and Melissa! And like I said they pay attention to detail. There's also a self serve water station by the bar. Parking is FREE in the back parking lot. Front parking you have to pay for with coins not credit cards. Such an absolute GEM in San Fernando!“

“Took 2 friends there to celebrate a birthday. Food and service were very good. Noise level was WAY too high. We were in a small room in the rear with just 3 tables: ours, one with two men and an empty table. The two men were talking so loud that we couldn't hear each other at our own table. We commented to our server (who kind of shrugged) and then finally one of the women at our table calmly, politely told the men she was enjoying their conversation but couldn't hear the conversation at our own table. They chuckled ("are we talking too loud?") and then proceeded to continue their conversation. It was so uncomfortable that the woman celebrating her birthday said although she liked the food she'd never return to the restaurant. The men had finished their meal about halfway through our meal and we were anxiously waiting for them to leave, but they didn't. Definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. I think the server, or host, could have helped to have them turn down the volume.“
