“One of the nicer new styling kbbq's I've been too, yelp makes getting a table very easy waited only 10mins maybe, the food was brought out fast and all very good quality, if you like spicy highly recommend the spicy beef, nice heat and flavor to it.“

The other staff are just as nice and attentive, but we’re biased for Tony. The meat quality is great, my personal favorite is the short rib. The side dishes are great, they’re the best on some days and ok on others - it depends on when the batch is made. Sonu BBQ has become my favorite KBBQ place in the southern CA region. It’s Oceanside’s best kept secret.“

“We decided to stop in on a Thursday night for some sushi. We have been on the hunt for a new place since moving from Hawaii; it's very tough to find a place that isn't mostly crabbed based rolls. To say the least, we will be back. Sushi was great and reasonably priced. The extra options such as the bento box was delicious. Service was good and they seemed to have many to go orders. Great casual dining for all !“
“Super fun experience, I've never had Korean BBQ in a restaurant like this before. Not bad for a first time visit. I'm a pescatarian so my dishes were somewhat limited. The seafood offerings are great don't get me wrong. I was with family and it was a wonderful experience overall. The bulgogi, baby octopus, chicken, beef, sides were tasty?, everyone had a great time we were there for like 2hrs?, we have a big family. Corn cheese... get it!!“
“Good spot, okay prices great service. Quick food and they took us regardless of it being 30 to close which was super nice after a long day and not wanting to end it eating fast food. Ambiance is fun for a small group after the beach or even before a night out. I enjoy it and will be coming back“

My boyfriend came here a little close to closing time, and they were more than happy to have us stay later than their closing time.
