Mexico Viejo is one of my fav lunch spots!!! We go here all the time and determined that their extra hot sauce is our FAVORITE - it has a great blend of heat and flavor! It can get busy around lunch time, but you can also call in orders ahead of time (which we often do) and they have it ready when you get there. All Around Classic Mexican. It's hard to get bad Mexican food in San Diego county. And this place is another testament to that. I had the Adobada combo plate and it was very filling. (I was too hungry to take pictures) If you have kids, you could get one combo and feed 3 of them with leftovers after.
