“Great variety on kick-a** beers. The beer tender was so nice and helped us navigate the perfect beer. Also, thank god for the heater!! It was so comfortable having a great beer and not freezing.Definitely will be back! #burgeonbeer #kernriver“
“went to the Backdraft today been going there since they opened under the original owner. This is the worst I have ever seen it. the serve flat out SUCKS. unless you are in with "one of the mangers" then you get good service.I will not be back untill the change owners.“
“This place is a VIBE. The live mixed house music is awesome. Ambience is great. Food is perfect. Drinks are flavorful and not too heavy. The owner Mark is extremely personable and loves to talk directly to his guests. Will be coming back. Highly recommend.“
“Their food is decadent and amazing. Their staff, a wonderful group. Never need to ask for anything. Their wine ? spectacular. This is a very small place. Reservations recommended. Don't miss out on the best Italian Cuisine in North County. Price $$$“
“A constant place of gathering for my coworkers and I who worked in the San Elijo Area. This time we met on a weekend for brunch. I ordered a Pannikin coffee and Cinnamon Toast French Toast. Really thick slices of French Toast, I’m kinda weird and prefer thin slices but this was still good. Others got an omelette or a wrap. Everyone like their food, service was nice, bit pricey but in line with the local restaurants.“
“Food was decent, the servers were friendly, but the overall Service was meh. We were a group of 6 guys who were celebrating a pal's birthday (cost was not an issue). We had issues receiving the following after many requests:* Additional Bread - requested 6 times* Red Pepper flakes - requested 4 times* Refilled water glass (never happened)Appreciated dining at Via Vai but they aren't the only restaurant in town. Won't be back for a very long while.“
“The Food and service were amazing! The gnocchi appetizer is made from scratch every morning. So worth the calories! The duck confit was prepared perfectly. My husband Loved his pheasant dish and said it was so good! We're from out of town but would return to eat here next time we're in San Diego.“
“The happy hour here is amazing. If you love a good glass of wine but want the ability to try multiple different bottles without having to drink bottles, this is the place. The appetizers here are perfect as well. The ability to pour smaller amounts and getting to choose which bottle you like is perfect Service here is amazing and friendly. The ambiance is chill and relaxing. Perfect before a great dinner. The great start to a date night.“
“What a gem! Ambiance is wine shop and old rhymes. Love that you can pick out a bottle and drink it there or get a glass from the wine list. Small bites like flatbread and cheese samplers. No kitchen food. Servers love wine and are super helpful with suggestions. See what you like and you can even become a member. Special wine dinners and tasting events. Can't wait to go back for more sips.“
“Phenomenal! We’ve eaten at nearly every Michelin starred restaurant in San Diego county (Addison, Soichi, Juene et Jolie) and, while we loved each experience, we enjoyed Valle the most overall. Others had more creative dishes or more highly polished service, but Valle struck a great balance between excellent service, wonderful tasting food, great atmosphere, and friendliness.“
“A complete gem! North County is an outstanding source for all things wine, but even better is their boutique wine bar to have a glass with friends or the owner. Like a small Napa winery without the vineyard. Jim is beyond friendly, knows everything there is to know about wine without being snooty. The perfect fit for the neighborhood and for San Diego. Best alternative to the big box wine store. I love the little outdoor patio, and especially like sitting up at the quaint bar with my girlfriend. She likes the huge selection of wines. A must during Christmas and the holidays, but even better throughout the year because you can pop in for a minute or just relax for hours.“
“It was a simple and refreshing salad paired with the slice of pizza. We loved the rusty and crunch of the pizza dough. The serving size is almost 2 slices. The salad was really good! The greens are crunchy paired with the right acidity of the dressing.“
“My boyfriend is obsessed with this place so I had the chance to give it a try for dinner. Corner Pizza is located at a cute corner of South O'side with lots of street parking nearby, and it's always busy. All in all the pizza is very tasty and very fresh, but also very pricey. I ordered the mushroom queen with no modifications and my boyfriend got the pepperoni with everything bagel crust. The pepperoni is a classic, very good, high quality pepperoni, no complaints. The mushroom queen is also good but I feel as if it wasn't quite what I was expecting. For a pizza called the mushroom queen that has "seasonal mushrooms" I was expecting lots of mushrooms with more variety, but it's more like two types of mushrooms sprinkled on. I was hoping for maybe some oyster mushrooms, a bit of shiitake, king trumpet, etc., for the high price point. I was also disappointed that there was no sauce on this pizza, which made the flavor a bit lackluster. I didn't know that the only pizzas with sauces seem to be the ones that specifically list a sauce. The lemon marinated arugula on top was fantastic though, coming from someone who hates arugula. Whole pizzas are around the mid-$20 range, and if you add additional toppings it'll easily go to $30. So it's a fair price to share with friends, but if you have a large appetite like me then it's a bit high :') I think Corner Pizza is pretty solid, but I'll be coming back for the lunch slice specials from now on rather than whole pizzas.“
“To be honest, I actually had a pretty abysmal experience, but I think it was probably just an off night. I was super impressed with the way that Tori the owner handled the situation and would definitely recommend people giving this place a try simply due to how courteous they were, and I do feel like they went above, and beyond to make up for experience.“
“Have always loved their take out sandwiches, dinners, wines to-go and inviting ambience.Stopped by to pick up some wine and decided to grab something to go. The waitress was helpful and friendly but the woman who I’m assuming prepared my meal rather rudely said, “Well that’s odd” when I asked to have my meal to go…Is that an odd request? For a restaurant? And even if it was, why not treat polite paying customers with tact and respect.I will still go back because I believe this was a one-off moment.“
“Enjoyed visiting this winery on December 30th.I was visting from Seattle and stopped by this place for dinner. The atmosphere was great. the bartender was friendly. the food and the wine were of great quality. They slightly overcharged my receipt by $0.95, but mistakes happen, the manager was polite and apologetic about it.I would visit this place again and highly recommend it to any travellers deciding to stop by a small little town called Encinitas in the San Diego area.“
“Spinach dip and flat bread pizza were very good. Had a very nice relaxing vibe but when the band was playing it was way too loud to enjoy it. The small building was the biggest problem. Sitting nearly elbow to elbow to the person next to you and even the servers were having trouble walking past at times.Parking: A very small nearby lot, had to find street parking near the houses a block away“
“I like the applewood fire pizzas- the crusts are delicious!! The lemon ricotta and the margherita pizzas are my favorites. The poached pear arugula salad is also nice and refreshing. I've only ever ordered to go here but it's a cute joint and the food is really good.“
“I’ve lived in the village for a couple of years and I always thought this place would be another semi good Italian restaurant (overpriced and underwhelming), but I was so wrong! We saw a promotion they were running so finally made it there this evening. The lasagna was legitimately the best lasagna I’ve ever had and I’ve had a ton of lasagna in my life. Even the bread and bruschetta style dipping sauce they provide free of charge was outrageously delicious. This place isn’t pretentious at all and to top it off the service was stellar. Highly, highly recommend!“
“Love sitting on their patio however had my 3-year-old grandson with us and was told he couldn't be on the patio. My understanding in California state law is that if you're serving food kids can sit anywhere but at the bar but grandma took the boy for a walk. I stayed and had some great cocktails and conversation with my familyBack“
“Bottlecraft is truly a "hidden gem." The local unique art on display and skate/surf videos help make it comfortable, for me. The customer service is excellent. People know their ipas and sour style beers. They also have a cooler/fridge filled with a plethora of quality beers to sip there or take back home. The common area in the back is great for groups and kept clean.“
“Oh my goodness deliciousness! Amazing evening -- Insalata de Nochi (braised Pear Salad) was perfect-- I had the Short Rib Pasta -- made with Pappardelle Pasta, moist flavorful short rib, mushroom cream sauce (yum!)--absolutely scrumptious! Bob had the Chicken Marsala, and he said the chicken was tender, very good! and of course (2) Glasses of Cabernet, from Paso Robles--The staff are always so amazing, fantastic customer service-- Thank you to the man, Leone!“
“Happy Hour Daily 4-6pm, great selection of drinks and appetizers and the bartenders are super chill. The music flows and creates such a vibe in the place, centrally located in the village in Carlsbad this place definitely merits your attention.“
“Came for the comedy show, had a good time. $15 minimum food/drink order for entry, which is fine.Food was good, everyone had burgers. The hamburger buns were dry and flaky, they fell apart as soon as we picked up the burgers. Fries were nice and crispy.Hard ciders were fantastic, especially the pineapple. Thought the draft beer was a bit overpriced compared to most, but it tasted good.Waitresses were friendly and attentive, but also very forgetful. We had to ask for our drinks a few times as she brought out one thing or another. Cashing out was difficult too, we ended up just getting up to give our card to the bartender. No one came by for 10+ minutes after the show ended to even ask.Not a fan of the fact that they automatically charge 18% gratuity, then tax it on top of your subtotal. Rubbed me the wrong way. I’m ok to be automatically charged gratuity, but to also tax it? No thanks. It was cool to check out while visiting the area, but I don’t think I’d become a regular if I lived here.“
“When we arrived we found there to be a bit of a line for checking in on a Monday evening however once we got to the front and Rebecca helped us we forgot all about the wait. She was so thoughtful, thorough and professional in explaining everything to my mom and I. My mom is recently been having to use a wheelchair and Rebecca was so intuitive that she asked my mom if she might need some other medical devices to make her stay more comfortable. We didn’t even know they had these things available and they were already waiting for us when we got to the room. Shower chair and toilet riser. The place was beautiful, large luxurious rooms with fantastic amenities. My mom said it was the most beautiful place she had ever stayed which brought tears to my eyes. The only thing I would suggest is more handicapped parking spaces. We had to park some dip from our from in the 61 building and with a wheelchair and luggage proved a challenge but again the only suggestion I would make. We stayed in the cove area and yes there was construction but I was only during the daytime and we were made fully aware prior to check in. As for the small amount of noise from Lego land we rather enjoyed hearing the beautiful laughter of happy families enjoying each others company while make memories.“
“#1 the service! Great! 5 stars, excellent attitudes with a homey feel.#2 the food! Great! 5 stars, good portion, flavor and appetizing lineup in the menu.#3 the location! Quick in and out, then great to-go times. I ate in and was seated quickly with quick food prep. I have order to go and also with the food delivery apps and I have never had a bad plate.“
“This is a jewel of a place in Oceanside, CA. The location is great. The coffee shop itself is a wonderful place. The employees are exceptional, the coffee and pastries are magnificent. Anyone that visits Oceanside, make sure you make plans to visit Pannikin.“
“Fun Fun Fun atmosphere! A little something for everyone. In one corner you have pool tables, in another corner you have a sitting area that transports you to a secret garden. Across from there, you have a welcoming bar with fun things to look at where you can order from a large assortment of ice cold beer and specialty cocktail. Large TVs and finally bar stools facing the bustling streets outside ...Come on in“
“Our first time visiting this place. We went last Saturday night to watch the “Horseshoe Lucky Band”. This place was spacious and had several breweries offering a variety of drinks at reasonable prices, an urban winery, and burger joint. Enjoyed listening and dancing to country music.“
