I have visited The Chicken and The Farm booth at several festivals, (Lafayette Art n Wine two years running now!) Yes the line is long...but SO worth the wait!!! Their display of all the food items makes it easy to pick what to order (or harder because it ALL looks so good!!). I am not sure how Chicken and the Farm only has a 3.1 on here because their food and service was immaculate even before receiving an extra order to try the Dirty Bird wings. Whoever rated them so low clearly doesn't know great quality food! Everything is prepared to order so there is a bit of a wait but trust me it's so worth it! My husband and I visited their booth at Almond Blossom in Ripon. We walked through all of the other booths and ultimately landed on them and we were not disappointed. My husband had the barnyard fries, I had the barnyard bowl and we shared the fried pickles (I think those were the menu names).
